A “one day protest” is likely going to have little to no effect.
They should definitely go for 48 hours, wait I've seen this before...
They are meant to be warnings, to be escalated and repeated until you get the desired effect without causing too much trouble right from the start.
uh huh. You start off with 'we go until you come back to the table with a real solution' and work from there. Otherwise, they can just wait it out. If you give a timeline, they'll use it to their advantage.
They then have a reason to come back with a real solution rather than just waiting it out.
