Apollo users, decline your subscription refund while you can

Apollo can't afford Reddit's fees and will be subject to auto-refund for shutting down, so users can help by declining the refund.

It doesn’t say how to decline it in that article, will it just pop up after the shutdown date?

You should be prompted when opening after updating to the latest version.

I’m so glad there are still decent people who try to do the right thing. Then there are the people who run Reddit.

I just updated but there was no prompt for this, only the wallpaper prompt

Update: I checked the Apollo sub and apparently many lifetime plan users don't have the option to decline the refund. That's a shame... Hope they fix it soon or I'll just leave a tip tomorrow

I could be wrong, but my understanding was it's only for monthly plans. I don't think there are any automatic refunds for lifetime subscribers

Yeah that definitely makes sense. Thank you! I didn't remember there was a monthly subscription option and thought everyone bought one time because I got mine super early on

Did not get any other pop-ups after making a donation. Hopefully it will show up at some point.
