Jerboa closes every time I return to the welcome page

Jerboa V0.0.37 feddit.de Pixel 4a running CalyxOS with Micro G

First of all: I appreciate your work on Jerboa - I suppose its been tough weeks.

Issue description: Every time I view a post to see the comment section and then return back to the main view, Jerboa closes itself and I have to restart the app and scroll to where I was (which is kind of annoying).

Has anyone experienced something similar? What am I doing wrong?

Edit: its not only going back from the comment section, but going back anywhere in the app. If I view my profile and then go back Jerboa will also close

Is the issue solved for you? I also have this problem. Every time I'm on my profile, inbox or search and go back, it closes the app instead of returning to my feed.

Yes it is solved. I set the animation time in my android settings as suggested by u/Scott. You could also update to the latest version of the app (0.0.38)

I'm using the 0.0.38 version and I still face the issue. I'll wait for a new Jerboa version, cause I don't wanna mess with my Android settings. Thanks!
