I have five other Fediverse accounts, mostly on some flavor of Mastodon :) Most notably, @noracodes@tenforward.social.

Cool. I might migrate my masto but for now mastodon.social is OK for me

What's your take on some of the differences between those instances?

  • tenforward.social is a good general instance with wide reach and strong moderation in balance
  • weirder.earth is much cozier because of its extensive blocklist and community cohesion
  • one instance is for my family
  • one instance is for porn and NSFW posting in general
  • on instance is for a specific kind of fiction
