If you really want to buy some retro games, skip super potato. Its a cool store to browse, but prices are inflated quite a bit since its a goto spot for tourists. Go checkout Hard- /Bookoff, 2nd Street or one of the many second hand shops.
Second Street doesn't really have many video games from what I've seen (granted I live in the country, so it could be different in Tokyo). Small hole in the wall shops are always the place to go.
Ah I guess you are right about the regular 2nd street shops. The one I've had in mind was a 2nd street x something, so the video games could be there because of the other shop. I envy you for the country side part. Currently living semi rural, but as soon as my company enables me 100% remote I would love to move.
