How do you keep backtrack in youtube/twitch?

I'm not officially diagnosed but I'm having a lot of trouble, being focused ans memorize things. Have you any methods, tools to help you backtracking what content content you're watching or willing to in these platforms? Sometimes my browser remember the timestamp of a video, Sometimes it's doesn't.

What specifically are you hoping to remember. Just how far you were through the content? Which pieces of content you wanted to watch? Something else? All of the above?

I usually don't have problems with platforms forgetting how far through a piece of content I am, but for remembering stuff I'm interested in, I usually use "watch later" playlists to save stuff I wanna watch, at least on YouTube

For shows I use JustWatch, which shows which shows/movies are available on what platforms. For books there's goodreads and I think also a Foss/fediverse alternative

You may also wanna try grayjay which let's you watch, and also save content from various video/streaming platforms (including yt and twitch) to a playlist for later viewing. Not sure if there's a website or just an app, its pretty new

I'm having some trouble to remember if I've already seen a part of a long video. And also, sometimes I look at a thumbnail or title, and I'm telling : one day I'd like too see this, but there is something in the process which does I never do.

I'm having some issues with keeping track of every media, like books, animes ... but these platforms seems to have functionalities to remember timestamps, or to bookmark for later vision. And maybe it has to do with cookies or something like this, but 1 of 2 times it remembers it, but since I never do ...

Sometimes, I'm saying "Oh, I have already saw this". In my mind, it means you already do things without aknowling you've done it, so what you do is useless.

When you're thinking you're looping through you've already seen, your moral does go down pretty fast, you're asking your self :"what's the point of trying to discover things if you can't remember ". Sorry if I forget to content warning this, I don't want you too feel bad about it.
