Man I feel old. It was a reference to this anti-piracy ad:

I don't use Windows.

Thanks for the heads-up! Turns out my account wasn't deleted, but the email address I used for U-Play did get deleted for inactivity*, and so now I'm locked out of my Ubisoft account 🤡 Meh. I'll deal with this tomorrow.

* deleting accounts after only 6 months of inactivity, Tutanota? Really?

Now we wait for them to kill old.reddit and Reddit will finally be the low-energy TikTok clone Spez wants it to be.

Nelson "haha"

For YouTube, uYou+ blocks ads and sponsors.

For YouTube Music, YouTubeMusicUltimate blocks ads and sponsors, too.

Anyone can sideload those relatively easily. Still, if you don't want to bother with this, you can find apps on the AppStore that do pretty much the same thing, like Yattee or Video Lite (there's a paid subscription for this one but if you block ads at the DNS level you won't see anything.)

And It’s Got Wood

Watch it being built exclusively out of plastic.

I'm using both. On paper I like Memmy more, but it's missing a couple of features present in Wefwef:

  1. Landscape mode.

  2. A way to display inline pics. If you're a Memmy user wondering why sometimes you see comments without text or anything, that's why. You're not seeing a pic.

But if Memmy had these two things, I don't think I'd be using Wefwef much.

I'm still not over Crossover's "cool and hip" rebranding.

It's especially stupid when services like WebRCade and Afterplay exist. They offer the same "pick up from anywhere" ease of use, but you're actually running your games locally.

Hardly any, even though Odysee has an option to auto upload whatever you're uploading to YT on their platform.

It reminds me of Nicegram, an iOS client for Telegram. Recently, they've been pushing some AI chatbot bullshit really hard. First of all I'm not interested, second it's behind a paywall. Who cares? Stop bloating up your services, people. Nobody likes it.

That is not a good surprise.

I've been using litebg [DOT] se. I think they managed to get the full database. I'm also waiting for nq-rarbg [DOT] to to go live.

I go for 3.0, it seems fair to me. 5.0 for files harder to come by.

libgen [DOT] rocks. Or yggtorrent [DOT] do (private tracker, books only in French).

Yep, that'd be alright to do it like this. It's not knowing there's a pic that's the problem.

Edit: just noticed it was added in the latest Testflight update. Nice!

but this is just like posts looked since I know Memmy

Maybe for posts, but with comments, inline pics weren't displayed nor acknowledged. If you were on Memmy you wouldn't know someone had attached a pic to their comment. (basic image links worked, but it's different).

In memmy that’s text followed by text followed by a link to an image

Yep, that's how they decided to do it for comments too, now.

Edit

Pic is displayed at the end of the post still ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The AppStore version will always be lagging behind by a few updates, I'm afraid. It takes time for Apple to validate a new AppStore build, unlike TestFlight builds.

Personally, I'm using this implantation. It requires a bit of tweaking, but the end result is great.

Edit: Just noticed there's a bug with tabCenterReborn.css. It's so lengthy now that it should be minified, otherwise Tab Center Reborn won't save it.

It looks like this! And apparently this update should show up on the AppStore in the next 24h ;-)
