No, as they said, they temporarily disabled it while they figured out what their options were and what to do. Then they did that.

I'm wondering where all the people that filled the other threads complaining about how Mozilla was evil and "enshittifying" are, now.

There's nothing to be outraged about, so I guess not here.

o shit she was slammed???

slammmmmed

Right, 98% of it wasn't anything about making money, improving the service, building something new, or allowing free speech.

He just wanted to make sure Twitter said what he wanted it to.

It's been wildly successful on that front. Way way way more successful than, say, Truth Social.

How did it get her credit card info if she only clicked "yes" boxes? Or was it linked to some other payment system that was set up on her system somehow (MS or Apple App Store or something)?

It's far, far more money than all the people he just laid off because he "had no other choice"

Oh OK, so they suck if they disable it, but they suck if they enable it because it's pointless. Got it.

I love all the little things his administration keeps doing, and they're good. I just wish he had some big initiative he could hang his hat on. Little things like this - while good - don't really get people excited and aren't the sea change(s) we need.

I know, a big part of that is congress.

But damn surely there's a lot more ballsy stuff that could have been done by now. Weed not being federally legalized yet is stupid, for one thing.

Fuck your buddy for giving that shitstain money, then.

The most surprising thing I think is that this confirms that he does sometimes pay lawyers.

Not having retirement savings of some kind would be...not great.

But as someone else said, if he has military pension, that may be good enough.

...from 15.2 BILLION miles away.

And it can reply by basically shining a (very high-frequency) flashlight back at us.

That's exactly the stupid shit they were referring to, good job.

Hoping there's an alternative link, for those of us that don't want to support that shitstain or his garbage site.

Risky gamble there

And yet there are so, so many people that don't seem to be able to pull themselves away from it.

I really don't get it.

Quit "considering" and fucking do it.

God, quit dragging this thing out so that more families get slaughtered.

That's only $32M per year, seems like not much of a penalty compared to what he's not paying.

They were fine until they specifically were called out on it.

If you really want performance, please write your code in binary, then you have no compiler, no runtime just plain binary code, it will be fast but unreadable

What a stupid, dismissive, and worthless take.

So...this is for porn.

Only fans, but on Reddit.

I suspect it will work out sickeningly well for them.

Until actual consequences are enforced, he is.

Hopefully this is one of a dozen times this year that he finally gets real consequences.

And to actually say you wanted to recreate the horrors of it. Like explicitly say that. That's a special level of non-self-awareness.

I thought you meant the effects not the effects

Not sure that edit is clearing anything up.

In the article: "Watch on X"

Me: No. No. I don't think I will.

Exception: 95 and 98

Random little-known fact: "Nimrod" only became an insult due to a Daffy Duck cartoon. Nimrod was a mythical hunter. Daffy happens to sarcastically call Elmer "Nimrod" as just a reference. People started interpreting it as an insult, or word for someone stupid.

He told people Biden soiled itz and they laughed and clapped.

I see no evidence this is a problem for him. His lack of cognition, morals, etc has never really been a problem before.

Maybe, but you're still awesome.

I don't agree with them, but I also didnt read that they thought others weren't valid. They seemed like they were just expressing that this isn't a good option for them (or people like them)

Amazon's not good at shipping?

I don't like a lot of their business practices, but holy shit do they get stuff to my house fast and reliably. Most of the time, same or next day.

Did he back down from $45m/no? Sounded like be was still giving it yo a PAC to elect Trump. He was just complaining about "inaccurate" reporting of "donating to Trump" directly, because it gave him an excuse to shit on people.

No one. There'd not really any point I can think of to "punish" them at this point except satisfying some creepy, sadistic sense of "justice".

I definitely didn't interpret this as shitting on Steam. In fact, the opposite.

But more deaths leads to fewer emissions! A bright side!

That really is one of the most ridiculous parts. Even if your team is local, a huuuge amount of interaction is spread across tbe globe.

I kinda understand that Benjamin Franklin in a god and he wrote something the words of the messiah's work is infallible or something. I get that's it is written somewhere, that's not what I'm asking.

What in the world are you talking about about here?

My 13 year old MB has 16GB.

It came with 8GB and at some point I spent $50 or so to add another 8GB.

You know, back when upgrading Macs was a thing.

In theory he can be impeached.

In practice, he can't be impeached.

I have to say, it's been really encouraging and refreshing to see people getting kinda pumped up about the election for a change.

Generally it's just been brutal, unceasing, useless pessimism and defeatism for the last year, absolutely everywhere. So it's nice to see.
