[Solved] Looking for name of a PC game (Windows XP) where you are a disc/ ball
I don't know if its the right Lemmy community to ask but I thought its worth a try haha.
So I'm looking for the name of a game I played around 2000-2007 on windows XP. I would say this game has some similarities to exo one. It‘s also very similar to the game “SpaceRoads” (it’s on steam). The difference to SpaceRoads is that you actually slide down as well (if I remember correctly) and are some sort of ball not a space ship. You’re a ball or disc on a huge slide in space. Your objective is to slide all the way down to finish the level. I think there was a bigger cube after the finish line where you had to slide in. You could easily fall down and there were some obstacles in your way. There were also power ups that let you slow down time when you held down space (you also changed color while slowing down time and holding down space). Another power up was the ability to jump also by pressing space (you also changed color) and one more power up was speeding up by holding down space (not sure about this power up). I’m not really sure about the power up pickups. Maybe it was like one level with the ability to jump when pressing space and the next level with the ability to slow down time while holding space.
Its similar to the game Ballance and Chromadrome. Its like a combination of Ballance, Chromadrome and SpaceRoads.
Any help is hugely appreciated. Thanks everyone!:)
Edit: Graphics wise its similar to the Mario N64 DS multiplayer slide level where youbl could race against your multiplayer buddy.

Thanks for your answer! But unfortunately neither is the game. The graphics in "Marble Madness" are too old and the graphics of "Switchball" are a little too good. It was similar to the Mario N64 DS slide graphics and it had like a "3rd person view" like Chromadrome/ GTA etc. It was more like 2000-2001 graphics. Similar to Tonic Trouble and M:Alien Paranoia graphics wise.
