It still is sadly. I think its still the best fullyFOSS one out there. At least for me.

No need to compile yourself, Lawnchair is NOT dead.

Join their telegram group, they share Dev builds there. Or, you can install Gooolers builds from GitHub: https://github.com/Goooler/LawnchairRelease

Personally I use Gooolers.

Edit: Some features need polishing and some need to be added. But overall is a great improvement really.
