What do you use Vaseline for?

I have a tub of Vaseline and have hardly scratched the surface. I'm curious whether anyone uses it for anything other than their lips.

We used it to lubricate seals on a pool pump.

Wait does that improve the seal? I have that exact issue right now

I believe it was to prevent tears as the gasket was sandwiched between the 2 halves of the pump.
