yeah i've come not to expect anything good from modern netflix, not just with documentaries but in general. the only reason i still have access is because of password sharing but even then i still never watch & it's free lmao
There is definitely some quality context, exclusive and otherwise. Arcane is phenomenal. Kipo was pretty good. She-ra was great. Stranger Things is pretty well done. Umbrella Academy is good. Inside Job is funny. And then beyond that, it has tons of other content from elsewhere. I don't know about their documentaries because they don't get advertised that much to me, so not sure what these comments are even referencing to be honest.
I feel like anyone who can't find something on Netflix just isn't trying.
It's a shame they cancelled Inside Job. In fact, if they stopped cancelling great original shows after only 1-2 seasons I'd have nothing negative to say about Netflix.
Yeah, their cancellations haven't really been great choices all the time. I think they have bean counters using old school methods to try and determine what to cancel and it doesn't work on streaming.
