Opinions: What is a movie you genuinely like, that is rated below 60% on rotten tomatoes?

Inspired by the linked XKCD. Using 60% instead of 50% because that's an easy filter to apply on rottentomatoes.

I'll go first: I think "Sherlock Holmes: A game of Shadows" was awesome, from the plot to the characters ,and especially how they used screen-play to highlight how Sherlocks head works in these absurd ways.

2005's The Island.

Did make me wish we had a remake of Logan's Run though.

As a kid I watched the Clonus Horror and watching The Island I realised it was a straight ripoff of that earlier movie. Can't say Clonus was much good but at least it had an original premise.

Interesting, I didn't know that movie existed, and I'm a huge sci-fi fan.

I looked it up on Wikipedia, and I can definitely see the similarities based on the description.

In 2005, the filmmakers filed a lawsuit against DreamWorks Pictures for copyright infringement, citing numerous similarities between Clonus and The Island. The two parties reached a settlement, with the amount settled being seven-figures and other specific terms being court-sealed.

When I was at school and we'd rent a couple of VHS tapes to watch once a week and this was one of them. It stuck in my mind even though it was a pretty terrible movie. I think the premise was great and I remember a couple of scenes from it.

Easily the best Michael Bay movie. didnt even realise it was his even after several viewings
