Title.

Newbie, recently joined, 7/1/23.

Right now, I'm on three: Lemmy.world (my 'main' or 'home'), kbin, and Blahaj Lemmy. I'm looking at Reddthat and sh.itjust.works as well.

Just curious. I know most of the content will overlap, but there are differences in philosophy/moderator style, etc.

Do you like having ONE instance?

I'm loving Alexandrite as the Dove dark chocolate enrobing my lemmy.world ice cream bar!

One. Isn't that kind of the point?

I think having Lenny and a kbin account is reasonable. If one goes down you can use the other.

Fair enough. Personally I'd probably just lurk until my instance was back up, but I could see it being worth having a backup.

i have a couple of accounts that i keep synced in case one of my instances disappears.
