Do we not have reply notifications on Kbin? (especially for comments)

- people don't read my comments as much here as on Lemmy so I get way fewer replies
- someone replied to me and I didn't see it in my notifications, even after tapping Notifications, so I had to go to the thread where he replied to me, check out all my 10+ comments, and see that one of them had a reply. I saw no other way to find this.

Seems like the one I was referring to was actually a pinging of my username and not a reply notification.
Do you have reply notifications turned on in your account settings?
Yes.
I believe the relevant setting for notifications of replies like this one is the second from the top, unchecked.
