what's the difference between "community" and "community@server"

For example searching for Python I see there is "Python" with 10 subs, and "Python@lemmy.ml" with 100 subs.

The one that has an @ in it is one a different instance than the one your account is on.

So they are different? Posts in one not visible in the other?
