Share your Lemmy community recommendations!

Which communities are you subscribed to that aren't completely niche and are general enough that most people would hang out there? Feel free to share some niche communities too, maybe we share the same interests, who knows! All I know is that I'm trying to get more situated on this site/app and I wanna go where the people are. I used to use reddit and I hate it there but I wonder what some reddit equivalents might be.
