I was somewhat excited with the direction of the game when it was announced, but then saw it wasn't coming to PC at launch (but probablyl later I assume like other FF games). So it kind of killed the hype a bit, but I'd still check it out once it hits PC.

I really hope they come through. Don't own a PS5 yet but played the demo the other day. Reeeaaally considering spending money I don't have just to play FFXVI.

The default SSD that comes with the PS5 is not particularly fast. The PS5 architecture allows for fast load times but a decent PC is going to be equal or better. I assume he just means for slower drives? Well that's why we have system requirements.
