On the 12th as a mod I was just gonna go till the 14th u/spez after that the leaks started coming out and realized the CEO of reddit doesn't care about us period. I created a lemmy account cause I didn't know what the fediveese was and a mastodon account and was basically trying to get away from reddit but I admit I do miss reddit.
In comes kbin I've been on for a good day on the web app cause I use my phone 99% of the time and realized after trial and error and reading what a microblog and what a thread is and how to navigate this website. I have 2 subs on lemmy that I will keep for now but I think kbin is where it's at. This is truly a reddit replacement!

I have a lemmy account but hardly log into it. I mod two subs and I just go to see how everything is. Really active on mastodon and kbin. Trying to figure it out more.
Open sourced is the only way that will work
You can always follow both - for example, I am posting this from my lemmy account. :)
@alex Yep I get that. On my mastodon account I follow all the subs lemmy beehaw kbin etc.. my home feed kept getting spammed everyone's comments from all platforms and I had to tap a comment then scroll up to see the original. I want something cleaner so I created a kbin account more like reddit. Still like the fediveese but not just the spam I was getting. Still new to this whole concept.
