The California State Senate has unanimously passed the California Senate Bill 605 – Wave and Tidal Energy.

I've seen various concepts being developed for wave or tidal energy, but I don't remember seeing any particular design that was ready for large scale deployment. Is there a specific system mind for California or is that TBD?
