How do I get Kolab Notes and my email to work together?

I downloaded the app via f-droid, tried entering the details of several mail providers, but the app doesn't want to transfer the text note to the mail server.

Can this app work with free email providers such as disroot.org?

I haven't found instructions on what to do through the search engine.

I would appreciate it if you could write a step by step guide.
