Does Lemmy support in App Gifs?

I currently use the Liftoff App, I see plenty of gifs in the comments but not many as posts.

Are there any apps that support in app gif posts, as opposed to links that lead to a browser site?

I'm still getting the hang of this, but happy to become more a more active user.
