The equivalent of "Is Pepsi ok?" in American politics

It could be slightly worse, though:

"The Nuclei Armati Rivoluzionari (English: "Armed Revolutionary Nuclei"), abbreviated NAR, was an Italian neo-fascist armed militant organization active during the Years of Lead from 1977 to November 1981. "

Ok, fellas: the intention of the author is inaccessible, the intention of the work can be interpreted, her public persona is that of a transphobe who always finds new lows to fall to in her brigade. You can still read HP and recognize that she is a shitty person.

The previous Italian government appointed Cingolani, someone with strong ties to ENI (an infamous Italian multinational energy company with a history of oil leaks and bribes) to the the so-called "ecological transition".

The current Italian government has cut the subsidies for public transportation and has announced public funding for a renewal of privately-owned cars.

There is no way out of this. The last CEO will die whispering, "profits are up, though."

WhatsApp was there first and it was useful in countries where you paid for each individual SMS.

He says the offensive stuff that's been repressed for 60 years on the political stage. Trump could use the N-word with a hard R and his polls would go up.

The same day Nestler and I talked, for example, she said that she had spoken about the changes with Reddit’s mod council, which has about 160 moderators.

Wow. So many power-hungry people in one room.

Why bother having competent and informed users when you can have people who just want to wolf down whatever is on their frontpage? /s

3rd-party devs recognized that paying for API access is reasonable, but they rightfully objected to the pricing.

The Internet is moving towards a subscription-based model, mimicking the one it opposed at the beginning. Or to put it more succinctly: app subscription are the new bills.

That's the same problem that workers in Victorian factories faced. We can call them "scabs", but they're people who aren't conscious about their role in an economic scenario or they simply side with the employer out of habit, conditioning or alleged self-interest.

I'm a high-school teacher in Italy, if I wanted to work a second I would have to ask my principal for permission (and there are lota of jobs that are forbidden, anyway). If I wanted to work more at my high-school job, those activities would be paid next year, if I'm lucky.

Despite his relatively old age, [Cincinnatus] worked his own small farm until an invasion prompted his fellow citizens to call for his leadership. He came from his plough to assume complete control over the state but, upon achieving a swift victory in only 16 days, relinquished his power and its perquisites and returned to his farm.
