Every human is an egoist. You too.

Everything you've ever done was for your own purpose. Everything we do, we do it cause it makes or will make US happy. Even if a person is kind to others, they are because it makes THEM happy. Even ascetics do what they do, because in their mind it will grand THEM happiness in the future.

So realize that you and everyone around you do what they do, because it makes THEM happy and live you life so it will make YOU happy

That's a gamer, not a software engineer

I understand pirating from Netflix and such, cause they're big companies and their service is shit, but Nebula is run by creators and you support them directly with a subscription. So if you have $5 at your disposal I would highly encourage paying for Nebula.

Recently I added a custom domain to my protonmail account and during the procedure it makes you do this steps (adding SPD, DKIM and DMARC) to pass all the steps. They tell you exactly what records you have to add, where to add them and what the content should be. These guys are great

Julia, Clojure and Go

From these 3 I think Go is the most straightforward and similar to most industry standard languages.

I don't agree with the 3rd take. I used both Debian and Arch based systems. Both break equally often (quite rarely), but when smth breaks in a Debian based system there's little support or help, while on Arch everyone is willing to help you and you have Arch wiki, which is in a league of its own. Also thanks to AUR, there so much more software available out of the box on Arch

Eat an apple

You can make a list of domains with such practices and block these domains

Windows (for my entire life) -> Ubuntu (for half a year) -> Kali (for a year; yes, I was that kid) -> Manjaro (half a year) -> Windows (for a short while, my Manjaro broke and I had school) ->Arch (past 4 years) -> now trying out NixOS

Material Files - the best files app I've ever used! Clean, material design and has everything I need. It can even run an FTP server

You would want to setup a VPN server on your linux server and vpn clients on android and laptop. I'm not knowledgeable enough to help, but you can look into wireguard

I just refuse to update Tachiyomi so it still works for me.

That's sad but true

Can I ask what do you dislike about both NixOS and Arch, since you've been switching between them? I thinking about trying out nixos but I'm afraid it:s too much of a hassle

The data folder is owned by media group. Sonarr user is in that group. Isn't that enough? Permissions are 775 for dirs and 664 for files

How did you setup file permissions for sonarr? I had trouble with it for the past few days
