I'd prefer to just eat them. I've been hungry for too long now.

I think it could go both ways. Another commenter mentioned the younger generation being used to things just working. You pull it out of the box, power on, good to go. When it comes to troubleshooting, that's where they seem to fall behind.
On a other note, I have a friend that is the same age as me, grew up with pretty similar upbringing. He's the type that if it doesn't work then it's not worth using. Couldn't get a Bluetooth speaker to connect to a computer so he got frustrated and played without sound.
I think it will really just depend on what that specific person was exposed to. Admittedly, there has been a few times I got confused at a card reader. I'm used to swiping or inserting the chip. Some card readers are the touch and go and it took me a few minutes to realize it was scan and go.
Another bar soap user. And they don't smell bad. Not sure what you've tried. Liquid body soap feels like it leaves a layer on my skin. Bar soap doesn't do that.
Btw, your liquid soap is more watered down than a bar of soap. And bars are less expensive.
I could agree to this. YouTube definitely shouldn't be doing their copyright bullshit for shit like this. Cop knows exactly what he's doing. Prick.
On another note, you could probably use some audio software to remove the audio altogether, attempt to separate the music and the vocals from the cop and people talking. Remove the song, reapply the audio to the video and upload. I've done it before but the quality never came out as good in the end. Pain in the ass but there's definitely ways around this.
We hungry!
They have a certain appeal to them. I'd love to try one out though and see how it appeals to me. Main thing that keeps me from getting one, is that I work in construction. Dust and debris getting inside the screen, then me closing it is just asking for scratches. Would a screen protector even be viable with the crease being in the middle?
Old school flip phones were feasible for situations like mine. But I'm not going back to T9 texting lol.
I love sound engineering and design as a whole. Music production was what got me into it. It's still mind boggling to me how much you can do with a simple sine wave and process it into essentially unlimited amounts of various sounds.
I never knew a thing about music theory, synthesizers, drum machines, etc. Almost 7 years down this path and I'm still learning as I go and just as curious as when I first started.
Seeing different instruments through an oscilloscope or watching the different frequencies dance as a whole on an EQ plugin is my favorite.
New Pipe and Freetube are great free alternatives to YouTube.
Not downvotes, but I have noticed that some of my comments are either being deleted or hidden?
Either it's an issue on Lemmys end, or we got Spez wanna be mods in here deleting shit they don't like or disagree with.
I'd say so. Considering both are free. And it's not YouTube. Yes it's using the front ends to YouTube, but I only need to use one app. Jerboa would be considered an alternative to Connect, would it not?
I just don't see a point either in paying YouTube subscription to use extra features and not have ads, when New Pipe and Freetube both do that without extra steps.
I love house and edm. I also do music production.
4 on the floor is a reference to the rhythm pattern mainly used in house and disco. The kick drum hits in 4/4 timing.
Understandable. And that's not a bad deal, pretty cheap. YouTube UI is not bad at all either. I preferred New Pipe because I didn't have to pay for it lol
Connect here too. Jerboa kept crashing on me. When it did load it couldn't connect. When it could connect it wouldn't load in icons and left some posts blank.
Not sure why you're getting downvoted. You're not wrong. It's the operator. If people actually drove responsibly, we probably wouldn't have as many issues. There are definitely too many distractions, and people in general just naturally mind wander.
That being said, it would be much better to have a mass transit system. Less accidents, I can watch my phone, do my nails, and eat my mcdonald's without worry of killing someone.
Driver chose to drive, therefore taking the responsibility of not only their life in their hands, but others on the road as well. Yes, you blame the driver. Because the driver also made the choice to drive the vehicle, then chose to check their cell phone and cause an accident. It's just responsibility at that point.
It's not vehicles, it's people. Cars are safer than they've ever been. People in general, just choose to not be responsible. And that's the reality of it.
Don't get me wrong, vehicles in general are dangerous in the fact that they are basically rolling hunks of metal with combustibles.
At the end of the day though, it's just that most people aren't willing to admit to themselves that they shouldn't be driving because they're too easily distracted in the first place.
Responsibility and self awareness. Put the phone down, don't eat and drive, put your music on before you put the car in drive. It's not rocket science.
No it doesn't lol. You need an operator for a car to function. Cars just don't go driving around running into people and random objects. If you get into an accident, who do they go after? The at fault driver. Not the car. It wasn't the vehicles fault it got into an accident. It was the person operating said vehicle.
Operator error.
Edit: I'm starting to think most people here just don't want to take responsibility for being stupid. Downvote all you want, drivers in cars kill people, not the car itself.
As someone who lives here, I have more and more desire to leave.
