I have a brother color laser + scanner. Love it.

I've had it for 8 years now, and so far it's only on its second set of toners etc.

The only warning I give to brother printer owners is don't leave them on. The capacitors in them aren't the best and your printer will either not turn on without a long power off, or like mine it will turn on and off randomly all day and night.

So now I only turn it on at the wall when I need it, and unplug it after

Yep.

Google will spend more on a legal team working out how to prevent the lawsuits in the first place than they would be giving to Mozilla

For bonus anger.

Amazon pays Toyota about $1 per vehicle that Alexa is installed on.

So you made Toyota an extra dollar for your pain.

Respect.

At this rate Ferrari will win another championship before FSD comes out

Not every big company does this.

I work for a fortune 500. We had a "the customers are not going to be pleased" change get pushed to us, and a lot of internal backlash/pushback prevented it from happening.

A competitor then did the thing we stopped, and got reamed by the public hard enough to set the standard of "your a dumbass if you even think about this".

This is dumb and I'm here for it

So... Battle bit?

I worked in a pharmacy while i was a student.

Heard the pharmacist take a customer script then tell the customer to take a seat.

They walked out the door with it.

When the meds had kicked in they bought it back.

It's 600k AUD.

If he doesn't pay it +within the 30 days?), then the enforcement of the fine can be up to $780k AUD per day, from the day the fine was issued.

What's the bet he finds out?

And it's a laughably low amount.

Someone posted a few weeks ago that it's like 60,000 people who are blue checked and not getting it for free.

Some of these are brutal. So be warned.

Some are sort of funny though...

That's the thing that's funny about this.

Some auto brands would ignore it, and some might actually take these requests seriously due to the legal ramifications if they don't.

Also which periods of time was it higher or lower percentages.

Willing to bet at its inception it was higher than it was when Netflix arrived.

Yeah I've felt that.

If your not joining the side the article or post is aiming to engage in, you get downvoted hard, even if you are correct.

I got nuked twice for correcting a fact which lessened the outrage the article posted was eliciting. Annoying, but could be worse.

How do we get to subscribe to this show

Na the police play it like this to get the suspect to slip up.

They have done it a few times in the past where they have most evidence but need a slam dunk. The Jetstar pilot involved in the elderly couple camping remote for example.

They tell them they are not looking at them (but bug their house / car etc), then leak stuff to the media to spook them into talking or trying to hide evidence.

A few months later the police have already filled out all the paperwork for a slam dunk and make the arrest.

It's a two sided attack.

On one hand, their investment opportunities are limited. As a normal pleb the most they can do is buy an investment property. Stock market is pretty sketchy and limited to those with decent cash, so it leaves just real estate which is why so much gets pumped into it.

Then on the other side you have population decline. China is literally fucked from old age people and the preference to having a son. More women there also don't want to deal with the entitled little emperor, so they don't get married also. Population is on track to hit 500bill in 2100 (down from 1.4T at its peak). All those billions missing don't need apartments.

When it falls, it's going to be impressive.

I agree with you... But...

One thing missed is the fresh set of eyes on old IP.

Some of the older games / IP that is being bought over has had no or little interest with the old group, so the new company may have a team inside that says "hey we use that now".

It doesn't always work. But it's better than nothing.
