When faced with a series of unfortunate events, I make a series of poor choices.

I thought you weren't either, but evidence and time do crazy things.

13 people is a pretty piss-poor basis for an article.

because "the left" aren't batshit insane like you people are.

seek help.

which is a shame.

sure, but it's not article worthy.

I find it hard to believe he was naturally born.

I'm scared. I don't want to poop alone when the time comes. Will you be my poop buddy?

don't stress - they're being disingenuous.

holy fucking shit. what the fuck was that?

that is a lie. maybe if you were part of that Amazon tribe that just got Starlink and porn, I could believe that. But it's such a stupid lie.

Like you're saying you knew coupons existed before, but with the advent of the internet, they must have all disappeared?

I retract my earlier statement - maybe you really are that stupid. I mean, not just ignorant, but actually, demonstrably stupid.

Now I feel sorry for that Library you're in.

🤮

you again. 🤦‍♂️

I'll remind you that the "Allow For Arnie" campaign was a real thing.

don't be an asshole, FS.

You're not ignorant, you knew coupons existed, you were just too lazy. Lazy people deserve to be taken advantage of.

And to make matters worse for you, even when shown how to spend less, you've actively said that you didn't want to do that.

You're being an asshole. You're being an attention whore.

Just bought some Domino's pizzas. $2.67usd inc tax each for a large pepperoni (pick up). Unusually cheap discount, and it worked on me. Buying some pizza!

there were coupons on the website he ordered from. He chose to ignore them and pay extra so he could make a post on Lemmy to drive up engagement (I am presuming, at this point)

yeah, love that uber surcharge. 🤦‍♂️

the issue isn't you're lying.

the issue is you're complaining about a fault with you, and blaming it on someone else. The fact you're not taking responsibility is why you're being dragged through the mud.

your post should be "oops, I forgot to use a coupon like a normal person and forgot to ask the store if they had any deals. look what my stupidity got me!" and you'd have some chuckles and some commiserations.

Instead, you're trying to blame Domino's for you not knowing that coupons have existed since the 1800s or something.

EXACTLY. This isn't new or news.

as I called it before, "the lazy tax". 🤷‍♂️

he DID use the internet. He used their website, and still ignored all their deals.

I just paid $2.67usd after tax for a large pepperoni Domino's pizza. That's a deal.

I love how everyone arguing against this mentions cats - and never toddlers.

It really speaks volumes to the types of users on Lemmy :)

but it's also not NOT fucked.

at least you didn't tip.

it's amazing how much patent illustrations and my pornography have in common.

I for one, am disappointed in you.

everyone here is aware of your attempts to use English via a dictionary.

3 more...

we know what you're saying. You're saying you don't understand English.

5 more...

where did I at any point offer any culinary advice or criticism?

Are you drunk on pain meds, or confusing me with another poster?

as for being stupid: yeah, probably your fault. I mean, if you are being wilfully ignorant, that's pretty stupid.

≥company's that take advantage...

how do you suggest they take advantage of lazy people without taking advantage of stupid people?

why do you suggest they don't also take advantage of "smart" people (which is, as I clearly said, what they are also doing)?

A continuing factor here, from the start, is you not reading the comments, and instead arguing disingenuously. This seems oddly out of character for you. Just kind of picturing you like Brendan Fraser in The Whale, only with anger and rage of Cartman.

right. The point is that you aren't fluent in English, and so are LITERALLY using a dictionary to communicate. By using only one literal definition of a word, without considering context, subtext or how the word is used, you both don't understand the conversation nor are you able to contribute in kind.

Increased nip dosages are required.

Was recommended the same by someone from Brussels.

(He was not 6 foot and full of muscles, to be clear)

Jews for Hitler were real. Jews for Jesus are real.

I could believe anything now.

we don't know if the "don't murder" thing was on the original list.

absolutely. not only that, but it's even worse once you factor in the crust::body& topping ratio.

smaller pizzas have more crust area to topping area. So if you like dry bread, get smaller pizzas. If you like sauce and cheese, get a larger pizza.

*numeracy is the word you're looking for.

you're not wrong though, literacy is also not their strong suit :)
