20 years old, no job, far right and emotional unstable. I think we got the perfect candidate!

Yes, it's definitely a tool of control. They can now basically choose what opinion they want to have visible on their site.

Also with the history of u/spez changing users comments, I wouldn't be surprised if the upvotes can't be trusted.

Give it a couple of month and this site will be run by 80% bots and advertisers.

Install VLC.

Wait until he finds out about Google Maps Timeline.

There’s this mountain of pure diamond. It takes an hour to climb it, and an hour to go around it. Every hundred years, a little bird comes. It sharpens its beak on the diamond mountain. And when the entire mountain is chiseled away, the first second of eternity will have passed.

Some preppers just want to survive 1 month in case of an natural disaster, a quarantine, or a nuclear reactor meltdown in your neighbouring country.

I always keep a stockpile on stuff that lasts forever, or only needs to replaced every couple of month (rice/pasta).

They also crawl on the ceiling and fall in your bed while you're sleeping.

A big rock, the size of a small boulder.

Yeah I guess. I've only been able to get internships- good internships. But I've never been able to get a real job

Maybe I misinterpreted that.

What's with all the comments about closing public schools and calling clearly fascist movements as "christian moralists".

I wouldn't consider it stalking but a background-check.

This community could (/will) become the biggest political forum on the web. Wouldn't you want to know who moderates it?

You can go through my post history, nothing to hide. I don't consider it stalking but a feature.

We will follow your journey with great interest.

That would be Edge of Tommorow.

And how would this magic train transport me to the Walmart parking lot? Does it also drive to my flat? No, I don't think so. /s

Go on, prove it! Prove that you can afford our stuff!

Sustained net positiv fusion.

It's plausible that we'll see it in our lifetime.

The only option I see is for users to overwrite their comments and for mods to delete their subs if they don't come to an agreement.

I'm still giving them time, but sooner or later I'll change my comments and delete my subreddits (even they're just small ones).

I first read "I hope there's no audio as well." and up-voted.

Left Shift + Enter is much more convenient for that.

Like, how do you press Right Shift + Enter?

I would be really pissed if my kids would delete my stuff..

That's exactly the point. If anyone dicides to cut me of from my shit, I would cut them of.

You can't alter their behaviour with that kind of approach unless they have big dementia already. Imo, the only thing that helps would be talking to her and getting her into other activities.

I liked the summarize bot. That one was actually contributing to conversations.

This doesn't make sense without karma..

Take my gold kind stranger! 🥉

Yes, they have great products. I love their headphones (had the g930 & am now using the g935) but their software is something else. They're not updating their stuff to newer operating systems, so you have to find some workarounds.

Great products but a idgaf attitude on their drivers + software.

It was also one of my favourites. The thing is, we weren't actually getting drunk to run over pedestrians. We just tried to prove that drunk drivers cause less accidents then our sober counterparts.

Same! I should get more informed about this.

We don't need to copy content. We need people who are invested in their stuff and post about it.

Here?

One of the view shitposts I really like! It's really stupid, but also a dad joke and true! Makes me laugh every time!

Either way, he's definitely built like a fridge.

@Gingerlegs lol, same here.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried draining the battery for 2 month now, hoping the problem will eventually fix itself.

I tried different chargers, but it will only start with the original charger.

Thanks for the comment! It wasn't meant to be a Dock replacement. Just a quick way to connect the keyboard, mouse and USB-sticks while at work, etc.

I like Anker products! I read reviews and comments from people using Anker Hubs without problem. So, without them being official supported I just tried it.

Well, hopefully this is something that can be fixed..

This is a tad misleading.

I learned on duolingo that computer is called computadora in spanish.

Also, the german word Rechner is only used for Desktop PCs. Like, the actual chassis with all parts inside. A Laptop is a computer but nobody would call it a Rechner.

If you use Rechner without context, everyone would assume you're talking about a calculator.

I was using Liftoff for some days now. I like the interface but now I see it's somehow buggy. - responding from Jerboa

Now you're making me worried.

I have a lot of important stuff bookmarked..

Can anyone recommend a good bookmark manager?

The og rules

Does Steam OS count as Linux, or Other; or is it not listed because it's not really a desktop OS, (while it could be used as one)?

Thank you! I'm wasn't sure what to do because I was using a product that was not explicitly stated as compatible. If there's nothing I can do on my part, I'll send it in (from Europe).

Yes, I have tried that.

Worth mentioning, that only works if the power supply is disconnected. I have to push Volume+ & the Power Button and then insert the power cable. If I try this with the cable attached the screen, plays the short "activate" sound but the screen stays dark.

The power cord works like the "Auto boot on AC attached" in the power menu, but that is Disabled...
