As an attorney, I would absolutely love to have subpoena and discovery power against right wing loons. I’m surprised they sued in the first place.

SMS/RCS or iMessage if you're asking what most people use.

damn, the CSI enhance shit really was real

You're being tracked via the mic and cameras they sell you on. There's no need to hide anything.

What in the world is the context of these? I don’t even understand based on the twitter post

You can connect bluetooth devices to it and run a browser, command prompt, etc. I'm thinking he used that type of stuff through the firestick.

Nah, but people on the internet love to pretend. I just hope this price hike benefits the artists at least somewhat.

The Lemmy community desperately needs a mix of more people lol, how are most of these comments “I haven’t played but it sucks” 😂

How is that better lol, it’s a completely different line of thought.

they don't like immigrants, the homeless, poor, etc. They do like guns.

Damn people are able to play baldurs gate on there? I tried and everything becomes so blurry that it’s not even worth. Wonder if I’m doing something wrong

Balancing an orange on the steering wheel?

Doesn't seem like even that would help. Patience seems to be the most useful option right now.

said in its 2021 lawsuit that founder David Strober invented technology in 2010 to "move" videos from a small device like a smartphone to a larger device like a television.

What the fuck? lmao. How is this able to be patented?

good lord lmao

It’s engadget, so

I’ve never played BG, DnD, and don’t really like turn based combat. This game has been incredible so far. It’s the first game in a long time where I’m thinking about it at work and excited to come home and play.

Would be amazing if windows did what steam deck does in shutting off the OS during gaming mode.

It does seem like a great grift opportunity

I'm an attorney and my favorite is pulling up to the courthouse for a motion hearing or trial with tupac blasting

Ground News has a decent app that has minimal tracking, and location access can be blocked without the app refusing to work.

Would be pretty hilarious for something to take the name. But it’s doubtful that they release the name. Twitter.com still directs to x.com

We keep saying this but they keep profiting more and more every time lol. Remember when everyone on reddit was gonna quit Netflix for the password sharing block? Ya, their users increased afterwards.

Welcome to Bob loblaws modlog

This is basically it. People are making it into a bigger deal than it is. Beehaw is specifically and purposely created as a safe space. That’s been their mission statement from the beginning. It’s incredibly easy to not make an account there if you’re not into that mission.

🤣 got a motion in limine pointed at my enemy

Lmao right. Standing doctrine and ripeness doctrine have no chance against scotus when it benefits right wing loons

Philips fast talking makes me anxious lmao, idk why

The RPG aspect of it is exactly what brought it home for me as well! It is an insane RPG so far. The world feels so alive given how much you can fuck it up if you really wanted to.

The turn-based combat also isn't as bad as I conjured up in my mind. I was kinda imaging the really old FF-style where enemies appear out of nowhere and you basically start a pokemon-style battle. It's much different than that, and gets really intense when there's a ton of enemies and you're trying to make sure your group of 4 doesn't get destroyed. Good luck!!

I think your comment is totally fair, you actually tried the game and came to the opinion. I’m more so confused on the zero gameplay but I know it sucks comments.

What a world we live in, lmao. Bizarre as hell

Never thought I'd see a worse usage of downvotes than on Reddit, but here we are lol. The amount of knee jerk opinions, reactions, and downvoting is surprising

Played for 3 hours yesterday on a 3070, 10700k, 32GB ram. Game runs and looks incredible on high/ultra settings. I haven’t gotten far into the story, but the beginning gets into the action very fast like Skyrim.

The animations and textures make npcs feel more alive than fallout. I made it to the first city area and it looks amazing. It looks like mirrors edge type city in space

I agree and it sucks. At least on Reddit you could generally avoid pointlessly negative people, whereas here it feels like that’s the majority of comments. I hope it changes into actual conversations at some point

our overhead is just over our head!

The whole case was a lie to the court and the justices didn’t care. The facts of the case are straight up fabricated. They get to push their Christian agenda and that’s all that matters
