The elementary school I went to from kindergarten to second grade didn’t allow us to talk during lunch. It was called “chew time” when we had to stop talking.

If there was a cheaper option to just remove ads, I’d consider paying for Premium. I’m not interested in YouTube Music or whatever else comes with Premium, I just want no ads. To me, the price of Premium isn’t worth what I would use it for.

This was in the US. It was a long time ago so I can’t exactly remember but I think if a kid didn’t stop talking, they would be moved to another table and have to eat by themselves.

The only time I can see FFXIV being toxic is if you’re doing savage content in party finder. You might occasionally run into a jerk in duty roulette or pvp but my experience since I started playing a few years ago has been mostly good.

I just prefer single player games in general, so I don’t play many multiplayer games anymore. I can play at my own pace and I don’t have to worry about things like cheaters, lag, battle passes, etc. I do play FFXIV with some friends pretty often, and I sometimes play Halo and Rocket League, but those I usually play solo.

It does start really slow but once you get to the end of A Realm Reborn and the beginning of the first expansion it really takes off.

Melodysheep, Tom Scott, and The Slow Mo Guys are always interesting. Dunkey and Funhaus for when I want to laugh.

Hard to say for certain but on Xbox it would have to be Halo MCC or The Witcher 3. I also played a lot of World of Warcraft back in the day so that’s probably up there too.

I’ve tried using Mastodon and it seems nice enough, but none of the accounts I would like to follow are on there, so I hardly ever use it. If the accounts I follow on Twitter ever migrated to Mastodon, I would give it another shot.

I’m usually not into games that “start at max level” either, but to me, going through the boring parts of ARR was worth it to get to the amazing expansions. I wouldn’t even say ARR is bad. It’s pretty standard MMO content for the most part. It’s just that the expansions are so good that ARR looks bad by comparison.

As for leveling classes, you’re free to switch classes pretty much whenever you want. No need to make another character to play another class. You mainly just play lower level content to level other classes but it goes much faster since you don’t have to replay the story.

Doing a New Game Plus playthrough in Final Fantasy XVI for the platinum. It’s my favorite game this year so far. Love the story and the characters, and the boss fights are excellent. After I’m done with that, I might do another playthrough of The Witcher 3.
