FWIW, a 20% drop is borderline catastrophic for a major company. The squeeze it puts on their supply chain, ability to make payroll, and interest rates on borrowing going up, it could be enough to create a death spiral. I think ubisoft is probably managed well enough to deal with this, but this is definitely a serious situation for them.

When we switch to DST, we "Fall Back. ". We set the clocks one hour back, at 2:00am Sunday, so basically we get an extra hour of sleep just on that night. Then we lose one when we set the clocks forward in the spring.

To be fair, I don't think that extra hour, once in the Fall, is used as a reason for Daylight Savings in any debates.

And while I agree with your assessment, you can't in good faith sell someone on those benefits without also mentioning the miserable, never-ending traffic nightmare that exists 24 hours a day anywhere near the beltway. I've lived in Manhattan, Chicago in three different neighborhoods and of course the DC metro area. I just spent a week in Fairfax, and it is the worst traffic I've ever seen outside of Atlanta at rush hour. And in VA, it's ALL THE TIME.

When I was in HS, back in the early 90s, my friend's father worked for a 3 letter office, near the Fed Triangle. He got up at 4:30 am every morning to make it to the office by 6 to avoid the worst traffic. That was 30 years ago!

I do work for a bunch of pharmaceutical companies and developing nation health outreach type organizations. (Don't ask me much technical, I'm not personally on the medical side.) But I can tell you that most major pharmas, Health NGOs and Government drug safety regulatory bodies are keenly aware that "Vaccines are a victim of their own success." They have multiple approaches to dealing with the problem that a successful vaccine campaign makes the need for the vaccines socially invisible. There are varying degrees of success, but not a lot of generalized and reliable ways to combat this kind of cognitive disconnect.
