Clock app, make a 30 minute timer, reset when it goes off. Why do you need a whole app for that?

[When being asked if she would be riding one of the new rides at her park ~10 yrs ago] "Oh goodness no, if I got on there parts of me would start flyin' off!"

She's plenty light natured about it.

Is this the new Metric to Imperial Windows conversion?

Not if you punch with the velocity if a mantis shrimp

About the possible complaining: I would say this is the perfect amount of detail/suggestion that can appeal just about everyone. You want to feel cute by wearing a short pleated skirt? Win! Care to view someone in a short pleated skirt? Also a win! Don't care to wear or view someone in a short pleated skirt? You are entitled to that opinion but probably not an active member of the community, or appreciate some peoples' desire to do one or both of these things. You win as well, And good will to all of the above.

I think they're referring to a big ol dose of ecstacy

Have you looked at btop by chance? More visually appealing to me,, but still in terminal.

Ah, thanks for the explanation. I too misunderstood the inflection.

Many roguelites could fall into this category, and are generally cheap to boot (i.e. vampire survivors).

I mean, isn't boy pussy the same as getting some ass?

And yet in the same breath we often point out that prison time doesn't rehabilitate (think petty crime). I think realistic fines to individuals AND companies that are more than "cost of doing business," as well as blacklisting the (undoubtedly several) individals responsible from being able to hold that level of power in an industry, not just the company, then there may be a reasonable deterrent, and it won't be a languishing burden on tax payers to put these guys up in dressed up 4 star hotels.

As a Titans fan I can say with all authority this is totally accurate game footage.

Ford and Hyundai have tried to bring service to that market with the Maverick and Santa Cruz, respectively. My folks have one and love it, but I've found most people still complain because they "don't need that big if a truck" but then you mention towing/hauling capacity and they say "well why can't it just tow something small like an F150 does? I'm not trying to get a dually but if I didn't want to do X then I'd just get a car!" I suspect most people's "truck needs" would be accommodated but fomo and marketing leads buyers astray even when they already know what they want. Or they're fickle and just need something to complain about.

They gave you a do-over. Things could change in the term, but my expectations are low. See: the US

Mate is literally a cultural equivalent to "dude"

In theory one could do this, but then you lose all backing from your party, and the side you "switch to" probably sees you as a double crosser, so you don't have their trust either.

I'd also like to point out that in a bit ahitty system, switching sides doesn't mean "never vote for you old side on anything." That's the point of having a larger group of people with different ideas. People may not align on everything, but there are some things we should be able to agree on, or at least discuss better than elementary school children before saying "he's not in my club so I don't care WHAT he has to say!"

Most coatings like paint that have this effect include ceramics to do most of the reflection, but the other paint stuff the ceramic substrate is emulsified in does not have near the reflectivity, so you're impairing yourself if reflectivity/heat rejection is the only goal.

The "fighting off her attacker" and "not reporting" are from two different instances though, the former succeeding the latter. When she was raped by a superior officer she was too afraid, but now she has grown as a part of that system (though the article says GOP so I assume everyone here still thinks she's a bad guy) and has gained the ability to call out and pursue her attacker. This is the same dressing up presentation that spreads the far reaching misinformation hurting our society, so I would encourage you to fully round out your statements with the whole truth in the future.

I mean this is already a thing to certain degrees right? Virtualization platforms I use both are free for personal use, but not business use, or at least certain feature package use isn't permitted. What's the difference? Putting the software under a different license/eula?

Definitely Dewey Decimal System

I both hate and love that ~50s American cars are so prevalent in Cuba from my understanding. Hate because it is/was out of necessity, love the enginuity required and that those beautiful cars are still taking people out for smiles.

So there's no term distinction between people with multiple separate relationships and those who's relationships are all mutual/shared?

And I miss it so hard

It's also a shame that holding ourselves to bare minimum of laws is acceptable. Laws should not have to equal moral contracts for people to have moral contracts..

You could argue "adultery" in a more general sense (or maybe in the original context outside of English, I'm not sure) could contain the modern definition as well as the general idea of "being with someone who is not your spouse".

XDG_SESSION_THEME=KDE got my hyprland config to work on everything except the cursor (other than in Firefox/steam for some reason). Took me way too long to find the old reddit post that had this tip, so I hope it helps!

Squares and rectangles

Why limit it? If you're actively making money, or you are a licensed business attempting to do so, people actively helping you build business deserve to be compensated. If a developer just happened to live in your area and said "I could make your business better by making this thing for you," would they be worth hiring? What's the saying, socialize the resources, privatize the profits? Size << Intent

Not even gonna name drop... 😥

Sounds like brunch to me

I would look at OpenSUSE and try whichever flavor meets your needs. It's more niche than Ubuntu but on vanilla installation is easily as user-friendly. The only downside is that if you start messing with stuff, tutorials are not written with SUSE/zypper in mind as often.

I've been running Tumbleweed with Nvidia drivers for about 6 months and have had basically no issues. Switch between X11Plasma/KDE when I just need something direct, and Wayland/Hyprland when I want to mess about and I've not had to blow everything away yet.

I would just look through any number of online list of "Best Swarm Survivors". There's dozens of different themes and tweaks from the VS formula, including boat and train varieties! I also watch the YouTube channel Never Nathaniel as he's a pretty awesome source of both info and entertainment on the matter (as well as other games). He's literally the only streamer I've watched and I couldn't tell you why, his formula just works.

It does help a bit, but most stuff I watch on my TV with ads (Hulu, YouTube, and YouTube TV) don't work unless the ads are unblocked as well :'(

That's fair, there is more info and suffering font sizes. I usually minimize the disk use window myself.

Maybe it's my preferences, maybe it's the color palette, but my mind immediately went to pizza over cake.

I don't think these cars are very similar. The fenders on the SSK aren't even connected with a running board like this photo. Beautiful car though, just of a similar era (or reflective of an era of it's a kit car as someone below suggested).

One more that is outside of the swarm survival genre, Child of Light. Though there is a fun and endearing story that irecommend, once you get through the first 20 minutes, you can kind of just not care and enjoy the simple but interesting play style of an almost-turned-based RPG.

Hell yeah, thanks!

CAFE, safety, larger wheels, more gadgets. These mega corps do their research. Turns out the "real small truck lovers" are a vocal minority, or the things you say you want didn't include all the things you take for granted in every new car because they just...are.

Ideally it would be popular enough that you wouldn't need the site modifier. Google would see that Lemmy has the most seen and perpetuated answer just like it sometimes does with Reddit now, whatever the instance.
