Actually we DID. Tho' only for a little while. And the results were enormous. The B/Yamgata Influenza lineage appears to have gone extinct. The cool part is we weren't even trying to do anything with those specific efforts to affect influenza. All of which should encourage us to cooperate more.

I don't carrot all! :-D

LoL, no.

lol

So you literally have no proof. You just made an assertion, to see how people would respond. SMCF, will you abandon your trolly behavior?

See, you almost escaped trollism. You've presented evidence in favor of a stated position. And you trolled everyone in this post on the way to something you could have stated in the original comment. With a little practic SMCF, I believe in you, you could do it. Time will tell how you choose.

It's not your beliefs, bur rather your trolly behavior, which by the statement above, I believe indicates your are in fact acting as a troll. Tho' I hold out the possibility that you could abandon those trolly behaviors, if you chose to do so. I'm not entirely sure you believe the statement I've called out as trolly. If you had some belief in that area, you might have also evidence to support that belief. Do you also, as you state you do, have beliefs for which there is no evidence? Maybe you shouldn't "believe everything you think."

None of them! All of my secret conspiracies are SECRET!

Any rank and file citizen would be in jail already. But I'm ok with them getting the evidence and assuring that the trial happens flawlessly. Of course this all happened in 2020, so the principle of 'justice delayed, is justice denied', certainly comes to mind.

LoL, no surety, no bond, and now #45 has hooked another criminal (Hankey) into his operation. Go for it, pull them all down.

I'm not sure what this implies. Defective ship? Was it the same captain, 8 years later? What's going on here?

Felons inciting violence; seems like that should be a crime.

Two sections from the article: "“Closing arguments are for an advocate to comment on the evidence presented, on the relevant law, and on how the latter applies to the former to justify the result sought. Such arguments may not be used to testify, to introduce new evidence, to make a campaign speech, or to comment on irrelevant matters,” Engoron emailed Trump’s legal team on Tuesday afternoon." Ha ha

and

The judge’s warnings came after months of Trump’s unhinged speeches outside the courtroom and social media posts in which the billionaire labeled the judge a leftist hack, insulted the judge’s law clerk, and dismissed the entire trial as an empty political persecution." Who is "the billionaire" in this sentence? LoL

The rolling insurrection continues. Rep. Stefanik needs to see some charges, be removed from office, and 14th amendment prevent her from hold any office ever again. Take the gloves off Joe. No negotiation with terrorists, no kit gloves for insurrectionists.

I'm so glad that Norfolk Southern is going to pay for all of the necessary remediation. Really a very considerate, and socially/ enviromentally conscious company. Bravo!

I suggest, respectfully, that if Judges Ho and Jones don't like the new rules, they can avoid dealing with it by simply resigning. Such action would have an immediate positive effect on the reputation of the Judicial Branch.

The Party of Law and Order, I've heard that somewhere before. The party that is tough on crime, is another false appellation. smh

Can a judge be sued for obstructing justice? Asking for a friend.

Perfect! Make the GOPers double down on both increased spending, and on their anti-abortion stance, during an election year.

"Let me explain, I don't care" Umm that's an interesting explanation.

Cool, how 'bout some more legal consequences?

I'm glad he had to be a smartass. Because Morrissey was certainly being a dumbass.

From the end of the blogpost @ (https://boehs.org/node/truth-social): "Once again, this was absolutely not the outcome I expected. Some people might be disappointed by it. I might be relieved. After I sent that email, I was a little worried about what I was getting myself into. The Truth Social Legal Team. Imagine. But it went my way. The real takeaway is that you do have power. Don’t be scared of the big guys. Speak their language, play on their court. Stand up for what you believe in. You can win. Finally, I want to thank Truth Social for complying appropriately. While we couldn’t be further apart politically, I respect that they followed the law in a timely manner without a fight."

Somehow I doubt he has 1.5B in personal assets. And will be happy when he is pennyless, and separated from infowars, as well.

Strategically, from the US perspective, it was an enormously effective flex. It doesn't matter what Putin says to his people, or the world, but now he knows that the US knew, and could have said nothing. Charles de Gaulle once said, "No nation has friends, only interests."

One would think secretly squashing disciplinary action that was based on admitted violation of the judicial code would itself be a violation of the judicial code. WTF?!?

I dunno guys, I've kinda lost enthusiasm for the twice impeached, rapist, fraudster-in-chief, too. I have to admit, I didn't have much to lose in the first place, so I didn't even really notice the loss. I almost, but not quite, feel sorry for all his boot-lickers.

For comparison: From Seves Glass Block: "Unlike standard glass blocks that have a thermal transmission coefficient "U"of 2.8 W/sq mt x K), HTI has a "U" value of 1.8 W/(sq mt x K). (https://www.sevesglassblock.com/product/191916-hti-wave-sahara-2s/). So common glass block is 2.8, fancier glass block is 1.8, and this new Aeroblock 0.053!! I think I did my numbers correctly, and DANG! I wan't to start building walls with this stuff tomorrow!!

Edit: Looks like my numbers are off, above, per @A_A@lemmy.world. Clearly, I'm neither an architect, nor a mathematician.

Oh yes, please!!

“The fact, I think, that he has no remorse – quite the opposite, he continues to deny his guilt – is going to hurt him at sentencing,” said Jeffrey Cohen, an associate professor at Boston College Law School and a former federal prosecutor in Massachusetts. “It’s one of the things that the judge can really point to that everybody is aware of — that he just denies this — and can use that as a strong basis for his sentence.”

The "extreme" rarity you claim for charging stations is a myth, possibly propagated by the petrol industry. Plugshare offers accurate information regarding the location of charging stations (https://www.plugshare.com/). And the cool thing about that is there are both commercial and home/ office stations, with more coming online all the time. It's kinda good that EM bobbled the supercharger thing, so it encourages more groups to start providing chargers. The great thing about Plugshare and ABRP (abetterrouteplanner.com/) is that it makes it very easy to see and plan for your next charge. Tho' I do agree that the way to go is make the E-charging cheaper, not to make the petrol more expensive, yet.

I was about to say, there's this thing called PIXELFED!! Thanks for beating me to it! Like with other Federated services there are numerous PIxelfed instances:

https://pixelfed.org/servers

and a mobile app for iOS and Android

https://pixelfed.org/mobile-apps

As well as 3rd Party Apps - Pixeldroid and Fedilab on the Android side

Tusker ( I thought that was beer) for iOS.

And it all works on Mastodon (and related apps) as well
