McDonalds is primarily a Real Estate company. Their food service is secondary.

Gotta hit them with the "Per my earlier email ..."

Well, if you wanted to know what it was called, it's in the post description.

A picture of Mussolini could work also, so many Argentinians I know have Italian last names (as well as German).

I've heard that he didn't complete the sentence because he didn't want a record of him saying "shame on me".

The worst thing you can do as a consumer is be (blindly) loyal to a brand.

E.g. I like Columbia jackets, footwear, outdoor wear, etc. If however their quality goes down, or there is another comparable product that happens to be on sale (and assuming I like the look/style) I wouldn't NOT get it because it isn't a Colombia product.

Agree, I'd add your accountant to that list as well.

Roads!? Where we're going we don't need roads...

It's the acronym for the phrase in the article - "Dual Income No Kids". Might have been more obvious if it were in caps.

Thousands of comments which the top ones contain the same types of canned, sarcastic answers as well.

The informative & constructive comments are generally way down at the bottom of the thread.

Crystal Clear Pepsi. I don't drink soda anymore, but when I was a kid that was my crack!

I remember they brought it back for a limited time for a bit, but sadly it's now gone.

I started to like Seltzer water. No idea how it happened, I tried it one day after always hating it, and it was like a light switch went off. Now I am always drinking it (still like flat water too!)

Harvey Birdman (and also, when he became an attorney at law).

Death by Snu Snu

I agree with you, but the word "need" means different things to different people...

Used car prices skyrocketed during/post COVID. Still bad now compared to before, but better.

As others mentioned, it's simple division. But to properly compare, you have to take into consideration the "units" in which you're dividing.

E.g. if you're buying crayons, you can compare the # of crayons to the price. But if you're buying chicken breasts, you can't really compare the # of chicken breasts, but rather the ounces (or, whatever measurement of weight).

I guess you need to define "fine". Most things are fine to buy but some name brand items are, in my opinion, worth spending more on.

For example, for me it's certain condiments and spices. Red pepper flakes by a name brand such as McCormick just taste better and have a more potent flavor. Buying a generic brand is just "fine" - it gives a good kick to food - but it doesn't nearly taste the same or is as flavorful as the name brand. In my opinion!

I have taken it a few times. The best way I can describe it is that, everyone has the kegel muscle. It's the muscle you squeeze when peeing and the stream comes out stronger.

For men, when you have a hard on and you squeeze/tense that muscle, it makes the boner, harder. So (at least for me) when taking it, it's like having the hardness of squeezing, without needing to squeeze. So it just gives me a harder, hardon.

I still need to get aroused to get it up, but when it's up, it's a stronger boner.

After ejaculation, it still goes down.

Closest thing I can think of is making reservations for Brunch. Some places it's necessary.

Same but with DotA!

Pogs

This is me but with the nicotine mints! I slowly started mixing in other "regular" mints, but it doesn't have the same kick! So after an extended period of time I get grumpy and just go back to the nicotine mints...

It is strength that decreased

Diablo 2, Civilization 2, Secret of Mana. No particular order.

That or Super Smash Brothers.

I just keep in mind that the work problem will still be there when I return, and I should try to enjoy the moment, because the vacation will be over and I won't get that time back.

Celebrity death match!

Question for you since you mentioned how it's integrated with all your devices. I currently do not use a PW manager (I know, shame on me). Let's say I get bitwarden, do I need to go back and change every password on every website to the bitwarden-generated password?

It just seems like I'm "In too deep" in a way where it'll be a pain in the ass to set up.

Ah, so that's what you meant when you said "original" .........

Is that also how you eat a regular slice? Roll it up like a croissant?

When thinking of each, if it was in a world where life is good and I'm living in the picturesque lifestyle that comes to mind for each one, then probably a Pirate.

Sailing the open seas is the picture that comes to mind and it's the most "romantic" to me.

I had an LG VX4500. Loved that phone and still have it sitting somewhere in a drawer today.

I'll charge up old phones from time to time to read old text messages.

Fair point on the Tobacco vs Cigarettes, but generally people interpret the two as synonymous.

Just wanted to say thanks. I have a frother for my milk but for some reason I never thought about using it for my protein shakes. Will try it!

I know we have our pitchforks out, but wanted to point out one subtle, but big difference from the article vs the job posting.

The article quotes a base salary of $900,000, however that is incorrect as the number is the Total Compensation, NOT just the base salary. The job posting specifically calls this out.

Regardless, these are very large numbers however the pay mixture could be (and likely is) loaded up with RSU grants, which isn't "cash" perse.

A base salary of $900K vs total comp of $900K are two vastly different things. Again, acknowledging that either way, these numbers are astronomical.

Candyman. I couldn't even look in a mirror for weeks.
