I'm honestly surprised that he lasted this long

As little sympathy as I normally hold for any Jan 6 rioters, it is downright cruel to house her in a male prison. From what I've been able to suss out, she has been transitioned since at least 2004 when she did her legal name change. This is a person who has fully transitioned and been living as a woman for nearly 2 decades. Even though she is a traitorous piece of crap she deserves fair punishment under the law. To me, being a woman put into a male prison population should be considered cruel and unusual.

I really enjoyed this little tidbit "Pelham paced outside, holding a gun and yelling at police. He eventually went back inside and fired the gun several times. For their own safety, police left the property that night, and let Pelham sleep off his drinking." He shoots at police and they "let him sleep it off", any POC would be dead as a doornail if they so much as thought of the word gun in the presence of cops. But a white male insurrectionist can just sleep it off. This country is truly fucked.

As someone who has received one of his pillows as a gift, it does not surprise me in the least that the company is going under. Aside from his crazier than a shithouse rat politics, the lumpy sacks of industrial waste he passes off as pillows are the most uncomfortable thing I've ever laid my head on.

Not really, even if you put aside the big orange idiot, our country is quite fucked.

He should be like Jimmy Carter and start building them homes himself, by hand. /s

Why do they need to use fresh water to fill the locks? I get that pumping salt water may come with a bit more maintenance but it just seems like a waste to use all that fresh water.

Public service announcement that this poster is a literal Nazi.

About time Ford is held accountable for their dogshit engines, although investigations should have started in the early 2000s. The Ford triton v8s of the late 90s and 00s were prone to blowing sparkplugs out of their cylinder heads (taking all the threads with them) so often that parts stores advertised the repair kits prominently. Ford never recalled a single engine for the problem and faced no repercussions.

NASAs budget in 2021 was $25b, but their economic output was $71.2b. NASA actually puts more into the economy than it takes to run. Between providing nearly 340,000 jobs and leasing patents on materials and technology developed in house, NASA more than pays their own way. Not to mention all the advancements in material science, medical technology, and engineering that they provide. NASA is well worth the investment we put into it, and IMO deserves much more.

Having a fan blow into your face really helps too. I cant play more than 10 or 15 minutes without one, but with I'm fine for hours.

It's the percentage of trans people who have attempted suicide.

Or sink the damn yacht.

That's the cool part about chemistry, when used in this synthesis the dichloromethane becomes a whole new (presumably safe, but we'll see what further testing turns up) molecule. Sodium is explosive and Chlorine is highly corrosive, but combine them and you get regular old table salt. Just because a reagent is dangerous doesn't mean the products it creates will be.

Edit: I just did a little research and it looks like 3,3′-Diindolylmethane (DIM) is safe for human consumption. It's already sold as a dietary supplement. It's marketed to help with metabolism of estrogens but we all know how "trustworthy" the dietary supplement market is.

If you can do basic maintenance to the car like changing belts, hoses, filters, etc it's really no big deal. I used to daily 1959 pickup truck, now I'm in an 81 jeep. Old cars are a lot of fun and the mechanicals on them are way simpler than what you'll find in a modern car. They do have their drawbacks though. Safety is probably the biggest one, airbags and crumple zones weren't really a thing pre-1990's. They will also get worse fuel mileage and are generally slower and less comfortable. But the look cool, and have a personality that most modern cars are lacking.

This is really exciting news, The severe lack of viable transplant organs has been a serious hinderance to the medical profession. If the process can be perfected this has the potential to save millions of lives.

Pixel 6 Pro with Graphene Os. You have to make a few concessions when it comes to ease of use, but the privacy and security is top notch.

I'll survive for a little bit but I will almost certainly be the cause of my own death.

Agreed, skaters have been outcasts since the old days. When you're already shunned by society, you're not very likely to shun people different from you in turn. Its the same situation in the punk rock scene.

That's a terrible idea and a good way to fry an ecu.

And the distinction between those two is???? A religion is merely a cult that has gathered enough followers to go mainstream.

I've owned idk how many cars, they've always been a hobby of mine. But the one I miss the most was my 1959 Chevrolet pickup truck. I bought it for next to nothing, it was rusty and beat up, but 100% original. I fixed all the broken and worn stuff on it and slapped a turbocharger on the factory engine and daily drove it for a year or two. Even with the turbo it was dreadfully slow, but it was a riot to drive. It turned a lot of heads and got smiles everywhere I went. Really wish I'd never sold it.

I'm not a violent person, but with draconian laws like these being put forth seemingly everyday, It feels like a time is approaching that the only recourse trans people will have is to try and cure conservatism with bullets. I for one refuse to be rounded up into camps and forced into the "showers" by these religious fascists.

Pretty sure it wasn't pretend when I, a trans woman, got stabbed for "being a faggot" by a chud in a maga hat.

Agreed, I can't wait to take my bra off when I get home. Like as soon as I come in the door I let the girls free.

I think Culture Shock would fit that description pretty well, it's defined as a condition of confusion and anxiety affecting a person suddenly exposed to an alien culture or milieu.

I also use keepassxc with syncthing. It works great and syncthing allows me to sync any other files I want. Mines set to automatically sync my photos and documents as well as keepass.

The father-son/daughter incest was also an interesting choice.

Checkers/rally's fries are my #1, plus I think they're the only ones on this list that backup their fries with a guarantee.

I think your numbers are a little off. According to the Williams Institute trans people actually only make up about .5% of US citizens, and 18% of trans people are aged 13-17. The US population is around 338,000,000. Multiply that by .5% and you get 1,690,000 trans people in the US. 18% of 1,690,000 comes to 30,420 trans children between 13-17.

If you have an Asian grocery nearby, try getting a package of salted duck eggs. They're boiled and packed in salt at the factory, so that the whole egg absorbs the saltiness trough the shell. They come individually vacuum sealed, so you can just cut it in half with a knife and scoop the egg out of the shell with a spoon, they're delicious in ramen.

Fyi, your links are broken.

It's easy to miss, the scene only lasts about 5-10 seconds.
