She's just a troll, nothing more. She contributes nothing towards policy or making life better in America. Whatever will own the libs is what she exists for. Trash.

This whole story is beyond weird. None of it makes any sense - a fast moving coup against an established government, an abrupt about face, and then exile into a neighboring country - only to come back "home" to pick up your prized pistol and a few other things. Oh, and also to meet up the leader you tried to overthrow.

Super impressed with growth over the last week alone. I really was worried how I would adjust to not being on Reddit after Apollo died but I feel pretty encouraged now.

But, for what goal, though? I'm asking because I'm genuinely curious. It made Putin look weak and it really seemed like he and this crony cabinet were on the run. It's not like Putin squashed down the rebellion in a show of force - instead, Wagner said "yeah, it's all good, imma turn around now and peace out to Belarus. Lates".

You would think that Qbert and Margorie Trailer Trash would be BFFs, but no, they're even shitty to each other. The funny thing is that they were fighting over one of them copying her articles of impeachment from the other: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/marjorie-taylor-greene-calls-lauren-boebert-little-b-house-floor-gop-p-rcna90592

"Greene then called Boebert “a little b----,” the Daily Beast reported, adding that Greene accused Boebert of having copied articles of impeachment she filed against Biden. Boebert pushed back at Greene’s claim, saying that she had not read the Georgia lawmaker's resolution, the news outlet said.

Nick Dyer, a spokesperson for Greene, confirmed to NBC News that the outlet’s characterization of the interaction was accurate.

“I had already introduced articles of impeachment on Joe Biden for the border, asked her to co-sponsor mine — she didn’t,” Greene told reporters Wednesday. “She basically copied my articles and then introduced them and then changed them to a privileged resolution.”

I can't believe that the people of Alabama voted for Tuberville.

While I do love the quick innovation and updates of Lemmy, I have to admit that it's a bit confusing and hard to keep up with.

I don't see how Thomas could possibly care. He knows that he and that wife of his are untouchable given that there is no oversight over the SCOTUS. Alito, too. Conservatives would never let them get even close to impeachment and Thomas has proclaimed that is only goal is to make liberal lives hell for his remainder of days.

It's surprising just how quickly the tables the conservative justices have been able to strike down existing law/precedent. I wonder if democracy will even exist in 10-20 years.

Getting used to it. I've noticed it's been very stable today compared to the last few days. I've been trying to find communities similar to the ones that I was a member of on Reddit. I miss the volume of info that was available on Reddit that I could drown myself in but I refuse to download the official app. After what spez did to Christian and other third party app devs, it's time to go. So, rock on, Lemmy! (this is my first post btw!)

Agree. He's screwed unless FPOTUS wins the election and gives him a pardon. I suppose that's entirely possible but foolish at best. Wouldn't be surprised if it all gets pinned on Nauta by the end of this.

Amaaaaaazing username! Love it!

No doubt. I'm going to try to enjoy the slow flow of comments for now.
