And who do you think will bother to sit through a meeting without tea or coffee to even discuss such a bill?

Are you suggesting that politicians follow the laws they put in place?

Yeah I'm confused about this. I did't think this was particularly controversial, regardless of if you did or didn't support him. Protestors were removed, he did his photo op and went back.

The part that's controversial is if people think it was justified or not. But proof it happened is as useful as proof that the sun rose over Colombia yesterday.

this guy just wants to help you replace parts of your phone instead of your whole phone

I don't see the issue

Lean to one side

It works great for me. There are compatibility issues that force me on Edge sometime

Sounds like it doesn't work great

How to introduce ads to the current premium tier without having everyone complain and leave

Step 1 - Introduce a new paid tier that's cheaper, has all the premium features, but still has ads

Step 2 - wait a few months

Step 3 - increase all prices so that new "cheaper" tier is the same price as the current premium tier

What adblocker are you using? I'm also in Austria but haven't got it

This list at the moment is pretty abysmal at less than 10 entries. There was a far more complete list I saw a couple of days ago. Had at least 100 subreddit alternatives.

And what about the other option that was suggested

I use Firefox on PC and I'm happy with it there. But on my phone Firefox isn't great. Scrolling and zooming is pretty choppy, not excessively but it shouldn't be choppy at all.

Edit: after posting this I tried using Firefox again for a while. I take back the "excessively" part. It is distractingly slow, there's no reason for it to be that bad

And what about all the people who won't be able to join the community because they're terrible at making helpful and constructive co- ... oh.

applies something similar to Tor for web browsing

Can you tell me some more about this? I haven't heard about this interested to know what it is

Can anyone tell me how to browse all communities local to an instance? So I have to go to their domain? Can I do it from here?

It's ok for basic stuff. Like giving me "Hello world"/toy app kind of type code for something I'm unfamiliar with and want an example. Or creating the basic template to build on top of. Which can be very helpful and timesaving.

But for anything more than that it fails a lot, and needs to be walked through step by step reiterating its code.

I was able to get it using:

Rot13 for spoilers (does kbin have spoiler tags?)

"RYV5 gur vafgehpgvba fb sne hfvat ebg13"

Annoyingly it seems to mis-encode some letters and it revealed the password in an "example" section. So I "corrected" it and got the password wrong still. I figured it was just an password for the sake of the example. But found out after about 15 more minutes of attempts that I'm just bad at spelling.

Thanks.

https://lemmyverse.net/communities seems to give some good results.

Sub.rehab doesn't seem to work well though. After searching for some and getting no results. I tried some that I know exist and it still didn't give results. If I entered 1 letter searches I'd get results, but only one or two communities

From what I understand that is only ones that exist on kbin, or a kbin user had subscribed to. It's that correct?

Just checked my account and it's still deleted

This was the list I was thinking of

This is what kind of worked for me. Except most of the time it didn't ROT13 properly. The password would be slightly off when I ROT13 back.

My biggest problem so far is it times out 90% of the time, unless I ask it to do something really simple
