My own recommendation: mod it, this way you can download and play any PSP game you want, also de PSP is able to run PS1 games natively so yep, you can also play the PS1 library (with a few exceptions).

You can also install homebrews or even retroarch. It's a magnificient console to play retro games on the go.

For me, the psp and the psvita are ones of the best handleds out there. Perfect size and so much to play!

Although it is true that Firefox posts/comments can get tiring, I think you replied yourself. Google is killing adds-blockers, who knows what will happen with chromium-based browsers. Turns out Firefox has nothing to do with chromium, plus they care for privacy, plus it works great and the list goes on.

I find it obvious people will recommend it, even more here, on Lemmy. If you don't like it, downvote it, keep scrolling or just don't click the post.

Maybe I woke up dense, but what does religious supremacy have to do with meat consumption?

What do you mean it doesn't have much identity? It has a lot of exclusive games! Ratchet and Clank, Secret Agent Clank, Daxter, Patapon, God of War games, MonsterHunter...

I would say it has a ton of identity if you ask me.

Are you sure you haven't gotten confused and thought about the vita?

I'm not trying to sound insensitive (I never come across anything like that in real life), but is it really that bad to assume someone's gender? You literally don't know anything about that person, or how they identify. Do people get offended when you missgender them if it's the first time you've met them?

I could understand someone being offended if you do missgender them every time, but what if it's the first time you're meeting? Just say sorry and then say the correct pronoun.

First of all, I barely gender people (I've always been like this, saying friend, partner, mate...) so I'm really surprised by this new trend. Maybe I'm getting old lol.

Unfortunately, this is a huge reality happening in almost all EU countries, at least those that accepted a ton of immigrants. I live in Spain, and I can tell you that right and hard-right winning is a no surprise at all. There’s a minor but loud immigrant that simply doesn’t care about anything but themselves: for example, go search the thefts crimes committed in Barcelona these few years: they increased by an alarming rate. In fact, the 60% of prisoners in Spain are foreigners. The overall crime rates have increased since accepting so much immigration. And this is a shame, because obviously not all immigrants are the same, but for the fault of those minor cases, they reputation is decreasing hardly.

And, before anyone crosses me out as a “nazi” or anti-immigration let me tell you: when I was born, my parents didn’t have the Spanish citizenship, so yep, my family and I were illegal immigrants. Also, my parents suffered from discrimination (for example, their university degrees were never validated, people were extra mean to them, insults (“return to your home”, “we don’t speak that language here”… you name it) but even with this discrimination level, they never, but never steal from anyone, they never raped anyone, they worked very hard and finally, after 20 years, we can say that we’re living a normal live.

Tomorrow is the election, and obviously voting those parties in my perspective is stupid, but I can understand why is happening.

My mom made me sell my ps2 (with a ton of games, even with the buzz controllers, microphones, etc.) for 20 bucks. I die inside every time I remember this lol.

She also made me sell my PSP because I "didn't play" with it. Important thing to say: my parents refused to buy me new games, I only had a few and once I completed them I stopped playing...

OMG! Yes, finally someone that knows about this game! It's without a doubt my favourite PS1 game. As you, I have very fun memories with the game, playing with my friends was a blast.

Such a shame that it never became popular :(

I completely forgot about this thought. Religions are so silly, and I don't care which one (Christianity, Islam...).

I have always thought that the best way to be religious is to be on your own, not through a "Church". There is nothing wrong with believing that there is something greater than us.

While I understand this, they were college degrees after all. Maybe this were my parents fault for not invastigating better, but even then, this doesn't underestimate all the other forms of discrimination they (and even I) were faced against.

Man, that sucks. I recently bought one and I'm having a blast playing on it! It really is the best console to play the nintendo catalogue, it can also play a few DS games lol.

Maybe, one day you can repurchase one ;) I would say that now is the best moment as hacking it is super easy and prices are not that inflated.

Man, what you said is so true. A few years ago, when I switched from Chrome to Brave (I now use Firefox), one of my worries was losing all the "important" stuff I had saved over the years. As you said, those things weren't important at all, I don't even remember what they were.

For those of you who are like that: change now, you won't regret it and if you really need to save something, just copy/paste those links into a word or any other program.

Interesting! Thanks for the response. Now that you say it, I think I've heard this thinking before, which is just sad.

  1. Dicey Dungeons, awesome game, you can leave whenever you want (not in the middle of combat tho) and it will save. I personally prefer the phone version than the pc one.
  2. Kingdoms (New Lands, Two Crowns...) pretty chill games, although they can be a little repetitive if you do multiple runs.
  3. Reventure, really funny game, pretty uknown, but totally worth it.
