It's absurd that people still think chiropractic is legitimate.

Is Beehaw even really in the fediverse when you don't federate with almost anyone?

lol, your wannabe reddit-logo sunk as soon as it became apparent Reddit wasn't going anywhere.

Cryptocurrency hating is good.

This version fixes the problem of comment context not loading properly.

All I came here to see, thanks.

12ft.io was performative useless garbage anyway, if any site can just ask your paywalling bypass site to not bypass their paywall, what is the point of your site

Everyone who I've ever seen talk about using Brave has been a chud, so I always thought it was sus.

”Are you a thief?”

gigachad Yes.

I'm sure this shit would've gone over well with teenage me who downloaded all his games and music using P2P software.

soypoint-1 WINNIE THE POOH TAIANAMMENNMEN 1989 CHINESE CAN ONLY DO BOOTLEGSsoypoint-2 (totes not racist to show an Asian man with yellow skin btw)

Can you do soypoint-1 SOCIAL CREDIT soypoint-2 so we can do all the greatest hits?

There was some Wikipedia article that was subject to a really long and intense conflict over whether it should have an infobox. I don't remember the details, though.

I'm sure you don't own anything made in China then. Canada, famous producer of consumer goods farquaad-point

Whatever little is actually made in Western countries anymore is shit quality designed to fall apart to make more profit just like everything else.

Least ignorant liberal

What does it say on all your consumer goods again? cap-think

Lemmy.world admins are the worst fucking dweebs on the fediverse.

I need to check out this community to improve my piracy game 🏴‍☠️

The funniest thing to ask money for. Just have genius.com open or stream the song on YouTube, the lyrics are probably in the description or at the very least the comments.

potential mars colonization

Yeah because we're real close to doing that in 2023

Landlords are parasites that prey on the vulnerable and produce nothing of value. Corporations who own and profit from ”intellectual property” are no different.

It's not just the Internet, it's all technology. In the 90s, there was sort of excitement over anything new coming to the market. Now it's ”oh good, new tech for our overlords to somehow screw us with”. Doesn't help that back then there were a hell of a lot more true technological progress, just look at what a PC was like in 1990 compared to 1999.

you're taking pride in bootlegging content?

yes-chad

Why are people such massive dorks now when it comes to piracy, fuck off

An increasing amount of people don't even own or need a PC anymore. There's no way Windows is more of a cause of this than smartphones that automatically call the cops and void your warranty because you had a passing thought about uninstalling the forced Netflix app.

You just have to rotate the food the other way in the microwave like in Steins;Gate.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me if the loser dweebs at lemmy.world want to ban the piracy comms. lol, even reddit-logo allows piracy subs.

If it wasn't, no one would ever develop any kind of software or scientific research or write a book or produce any kind of intangible work whatsoever.

Open source software developers, fan translators, emulation developers, etc.: lol.

They make things without getting compensated for it. Same goes for everyone whose hobbies are drawing, painting, making music or any creative endeavor. I'm sure you also have hobbies, are you paid to do them?

Pretty sure Windows Defender is fine now and not markedly worse than something like Bitdefender. I gave up on Bitdefender when they ended the free version with no advance warning shrug-outta-hecks

Ulysses by James Joyce.

I just use public trackers and streaming, don't even know what half of these are, lol

Can you blame them? Even South Park made fun of how bad Atlas Shrugged is.

This is the correct answer. I used to wear a smartwatch before realizing most of the features were useless or actively annoying, and a regular watch will tell me the time just as well and doesn't need to constantly be charged. Do you really want your wrist to buzz every time you get an e-mail? If you're going to spend €50 on a smartwatch, spend it on a Casio instead, that's what I did and it's much better value for money.

Homer framed Marge for drunk driving once, dunno if it's the worst but it's pretty bad.

Bart got Milhouse wanted by the FBI

”What if the children consent tho” has historically been a very popular question with redditors.

I don't care if I'm the only one who'd play it, remake Grand Prix Legends.

LGR is the same he's ever been.

This was a lot of fun, probably a lot more if you bothered to figure out the scripting system. I just made movies where stuff blew up.

Stunt Island is likely also the first game where it was possible to do machinima.

I have a gacha model of this.

All I can think of is if they have to open it on a work computer that they're not allowed to install anything on.

Great soundtrack, picking up the missile powerup in the first level, exiting the level to sell it, repeating until you could afford the twin blue lasers.

If they'd called it All You Need Is Kill, they'd be at least up to part three by now.

A big part of the battle system in the Trails series is seeing and manipulating the turn order, but only some of those games are on the Switch, in the West at least.

Source Code was okay but not great or anything. Of course, there's also Looper.

8bitdo Ultimate 2.4 Ghz, it connects with a dongle, but if you update the firmware you can use Bluetooth as well, even though they don't advertise it. You can also go with the Ultimate C 2.4 Ghz which doesn't have the back buttons or mappable buttons (I don't even know if 8bitdo's Ultimate software works on Linux) to save some money.
