Definitely Netflix with the password sharing lockdown garbage. Then I looked closely at my Spotify. I realized my yearly rewind was almost always the same artists at the top, so I pay over $100 a year to listen to the same music every year. I bought the album's I like and I feel so at peace now that Spotify can no longer tnrow shitty podcast recommendations in my face.

I met my wife on Bumble and we just had our first baby. Dating apps didn't work well for me for about a year, but then they really started to pick up and I had much better dates. What I found worked best was sticking to swiping, but getting to an actual date within the first week of talking and limiting getting to know eachother over text. If you do the whole introductory phase on an app, then you will have a hard time developing a dialogue or a vibe in person. If you use the apps for brief introductions and finding dates, then they are good. I would just try to take the dialogue off the app as soon as you see an opportunity to have a date in person.

PC gaming does appeal more to me lately. The fact that more games are becoming exclusives, might as well get into PC gaming. Lots of smaller games come out on PC as well and it takes forever for them to show up on console if they ever do.

This is a great coincidence for me as I have been getting into retro gaming and emulation so I have been enjoying going back and playing games I loved as a kid on the GBA, Gamecube, and PS2. Tops right now are Simpsons Hit and Run, Pokemon Emerald, and Super Mario Strikers. It's amazing how well older games can be emulated to the best versions you have ever played of them today.

Can I ask what your parts you used for your build? I've been enticed by the PC route as well because of the same bs from PlayStation you have outlined here. Everytime I look at building a PC I get overwhelmed by all the options though

I am in the last semester of my studies which I resumed again because my current job had no room for growth. It was a huge amount of money that had definitely upgraded my knowledge and abilities, but I'm not convinced it will translate to a better job, at least right away. Will probably take 6-12 months to find a better role I am anticipating

I agree. I've tried so many FOSS keyboards and no matter how hard I try, I just have to go back to gboard. It's wild how hard it is to find a good keyboard. I can't even use the stock Samsung one anymore

I would consider myself a patient gamer as well. The last game I preordered was Star Wars Battlefront and after that I swore off of investing in a game before it can out. I definitely could spend time going through my PlayStation library and not run out of games for a while.

I like the idea of this. A open and non competitive atmosphere where you can play with your friends and family. I think the organized league style is killing my love of playing sports. Our league is supposed to be "fun first" but I find that is rarely the case. I think I do need a change and what you described here is very appealing

I think that is something I have been experiencing too. Recent AAA games have failed to impress me. I am someone who likes story, so I'll always appreciate clever dialogue or a well thought out story over flashy graphics or an open world.

I think I'm also in the boat of moving into PC gaming soon. I would be interested in doing a cheap build, but I don't know much about good components and wouldn't be sure where to start my research. It would definitely be a good project and I would feel more invested with a build I put together and can upgrade over time.

I do think I need a break from the PS5. The thing is that I'm a college student and just started my summer break, so I didn't play the PS5 for about 6 months. Now that I have time, I pick it up again and quickly feel drained or uninspired by what there is to play. Even going through the store I struggle to find anything worth my time. So my thinking is that if I already need a break again, then it might just mean that I have outgrown the console gaming life and would benefit from moving onto PC or simplifying my gaming to lighter titles that are more story rich.

I think I'm going to take some time to evaluate the PS5 more. Probably if I don't use it much before Christmas, then I can look to offload it.

Not on Stremio. Kodi is what I use for sports.

The subtitles suck on that app. I had to give up on them. I've moved on from Filmplus though. Real debrid is the best option.
