Called once to ask, they said go to urgent care.

Then billed me for a telehealth visit and also the Urgent Care billed me too.

If you have a society where everyone is allowed a gun, you as a gun owner cannot feel threatened by someone else holding a firearm. As an Army Sergeant, the fact that he can't handle seeing someone else's weapon without getting scared probably means his file contains more than a few waivers.

I said all these things to my partner when I saw the ad as well.

I've spent more time helping my kid write Steam reviews of the games they're playing than this Dad did on writing a letter to his daughter's hero.

Simple as. Don't be surprised when the kid puts you in a crappy home to afford more Gemini credit or whatever.

Imagine if you had a hammer and decided to use it to hit a nail and then someone came along and said "I see you're using my method to build a house! Pay up!"

Well, you can't patent something like that!

Imagine you open up a game engine, any engine, and decide you need to point to an objective so you decide to use an arrow. A game company says "You're using our method to identify objectives! Pay up!" and that one is a unique mechanic?

How long has humanity been using arrows to point to things? How can you patent it just because it's a digital arrow?

Every time I've tried to use it, I've either had to head downstairs to the PC to fix something or had terrible lag and artifacting making it unusable for even turn based games like Xcom...

But I still love that little box. I've got two of them and I have Steam Controllers to pair with them but I've never had luck with them. Wired, wireless, no luck.

A lot of prior military folks will use males and females just because that's how it's been drilled into them. Male and female latrines, not men and women's bathrooms. Male and female barracks, not men and women's dorms. Male and female standards, etc etc.

Republicans "shame" all people who do that every day as a normal part of their person for whatever reason. Republicans shame the mere existence of people.

Democrats are, in this specific circumstance, are shaming a man who claims wearing women's clothes is immoral for dressing in women's clothing. If it's so immoral, why is he comfortable doing it?

This is like saying terrorists and aid workers both wear pants, so it's okay to bomb them both.

I learned to sneeze like that long before dabbing was a thing and it wasn't until someone commented that I just dabbed on them that it connected those dots.

Regardless, I still sneeze in my elbow.

They could invest in whole new rail lines with their own private cars and fill the other cars with low cost seats. Tons of people on it and no way reasonable way of tracking them because so many people boarding it each time.

Right? I thought I went crazy when I got to "I just used Generative Fill!" Like, he didn't just auto adjust the exposure and black levels! C'mon!

It's entirely possible that literally everything she claimed was false or exaggerated but there's still enough evidence of Linus acting less than decently on the WAN show with regard to his other actions that cast doubt.

The man who took another company's prototype and auctioned it off then claimed that they already had an agreement before contacting them somehow had zero evidence of abuse of power? We should assume that his willingness to abuse his power ends at his businesses doorstep because some of his co-workers are decent people?

We've had inflation before and, on a historic timescale, we've had revolutions to correct that inflation. France existed for almost a thousand years before they had the big one.

It's an ARPG. Rogue-like has permadeath with random levels. Rogue-lite has permadeath with random levels but persistent unlocks and upgrades.

Call me the last fascist in hell then. Y'all can string me up for my crimes when we've eliminated all the threats. Keep your hands clean and I'll shut the door behind me.

If you've got kids and a partner, you can't go sit at your computer or take over the living room TV...

So, yeah, I use my Deck all the time. I take it with me on work and road trips but I'm always driving or working so it honestly gets most of it's use on the couch. Six feet from the much more powerful gaming PC and six feet from the living room media PC that can also play games. Hundreds of dollars of GPU in one room and hundreds of hours using the Deck instead.

Take CapCut off because it's more like TikTok editing than video editing.

Divinci has a learning curve but any curve is better than learning solely on a ByteDance owned product.

You can use any US Military footage from dvidshub.net as well.

Technically the triangle just refers to 'relationships' and not 'romantic relationships' so two male friends and one female love interest works as a triangle but one woman with two male strangers doesn't with because that's just a V.

You're thinking about this too productively. I have forty tabs open because I'll get to it later and every time I see my fifty tabs it's a reminder to get stuff done. Then I close a few tabs, look at the other seventy and feel a sense of accomplishment!

It's not because I have a semi-crippling executive function disorder that I pretend is just a curiosity about the world and a love for learning.

The Zero Suit is looking pretty baggy in this picture for some reason.

I mean, it only took a week when Kyle quit the band. Let's give it some time.

Punk is, to a degree, about deconstruction of a system. If 'the system' is built upon an appearance of aggression - angry ten foot tall brodozers and music about shooting anyone who looks at you funny - then the most punk thing to do is to dress up nice and talk about friendship, right? After all, "The Man" wants me to be an avatar of anger so, fuck him, let's sing about flowers and shit.

But, they're certainly not "punk rock", that's for sure.

Tower 22 is more like a rear det for Al Tanf. It's a way to project force into Syria without actually going in and leaving the SDF to work the Syrian side, with the implication that Syria might attack the SDF base but not risk attacking Jordan. There are bases in Jordan, well, not bases like Germany or Kuwait but diplomatic compounds with every thing that comes with that.

It's not a black site though, they've posted pictures a few years back when a Syrian drone wrecked a few buildings.

DOD Imagery guidelines state that only color correction can be applied to "make the image appear the same as it was when it was captured" otherwise it must be labeled "DOD illustration" instead of "DOD Imagery"

1.) Used to be a dishwasher and even the government had a hard time getting my prints.

2.) A wiener (that's attached to a human) can actually be used and make a recognizable print on a fingerprint reader. (Not recommended for daycare workers.)

My Cyberpunk installation has about 177mb of saves right now.

Every other game is basically <1mb.

That's why I prefer "to be frank" or "to be blunt." Same implication but without that possibility.

I would like an electric 2004 Dodge Neon...

Does China have that? Not like in build quality, I know they're trash, just that exact car.

Original sin and all that

A key point in your statement is 'person'. Though it's not universal, humans are understood to have better... Well, understanding of their actions. A vicious dog doesn't understand that they're vicious, they just rip and tear. A human is supposed to have that inner monologue to say "No."

So, you release a dangerous animal on someone, you're at fault. You kill someone, you're at fault.

In George Floyd's case, the cop is responsible. 1000%. I've been in situations, I've pointed a gun and I waited. Even when someone might be rigged to blow, you don't just shoot them. Whomever called the cops isn't responsible because the Cop should've been expected to be a human and not some deity who can do no wrong. Yes, everyone in America at this point should know that cops aren't your friend but some people don't know that.

My Dell XPS 13 (Windows) will kill it's battery if you look at it funny... Or don't look at it at all.

One time, I fully shut down the laptop and put it in my carry-on.

When I took it out after my flight, my bag was suspiciously warm and the battery was fully dead. Power management on Linux might be a joke but Dell is certainly the Carlos MencĂa of the comedy club. At least I know my enemy now though. I unplug the battery to turn it 'off'.

You can retest as much as needed, really, and if you can't get your score up a recruiter can schedule you time with a nearby Ed Center if there is one for ASVAB classes to get your scores up because "some folks aren't test takers!"

I'm not saying that fuckstick Mcbangbang is by any means smart but a permanent disqual for low ASVAB? I ain't seent it before.

They come wired and wireless.

I mean, Fossil ended support for my Gen 5 a while back and... It still works. I mean, I mostly use it as an alarm and "ability to feel my phone vibrate when ringing" machine but it still operates...

Until it doesn't, I guess. The battery life is already shit and I'm jealous of my partner's Garmin.

I mean, the DIN hole was a standard size but it certainly wasn't a 'socket' and anyone who had a Ford Focus that needed a Mercedes-Benz writing harness to plug up their aftermarket radio knows what I'm on about.

The commentators have repeatedly said Russia and Belarus are both banned this year due to the invasion of Ukraine.

Just, They dope like crazy but I guess in Olympic speak that just means they can't fly the Russian flag.

Manchester, NH and abuse of OTC meds, yeah, that tracks.

Just fucking make it all XT90 or something.

If it wasn't Ben I would look for more subtext but the man didn't actually label it heaven which is a bigger giveaway than anything else.

Garrison labels EVERYTHING. The fact that nothing is labeled here just means that either nothing is what it seems or this isn't actually Ben.

I'd never met anyone but my mom who'd played Solomon's Key prior to Nintendo straight up adding it to the NSO.

The other game I never hear about was the ID4: Independence Day floppies that came in cereal boxes or something. Don't really remember the games that well but I do remember trying to collect them all.

Also, I once basically got gaslighted into thinking that Falling Down was just a fever dream of mine until one day I'd heard the name in a Tech N9ne song and it all clicked again.
