If AI was so great, it would find a solution to operate at fraction of the cost it does now

They already tried that in the 80s

YouTube started monetizing Shorts and reduced the payouts to regular long form YouTube videos which is anything wide screen and over 60 seconds. It's pretty much forcing content creators to start doing Shorts if they want to try and not lose as much revenue

That's what pisses me off about the Gadsden flag.

The flag has been described as the "most popular symbol of the American revolution". Its design proclaims an assertive warning of vigilance and willingness to act in defense against coercion. This has led it to be associated with the ideas of individualism and liberty.

These are some of the ideals that I favor and stand behind. But now the right wing loonies have corrupted it and use it for their own purposes.

People are hesitant to recommend good providers. If they have one that works well for them and that isn't well known, they don't want anyone messing it up. Some providers don't even want people using their name on forums. For good reason too. Just need to look at what the YouTube gonads didn't with the whole -Kodi streaming box free TV videos plastered all over YouTube. Made it way too easy for The Man to track down who the providers were and bust them.

That's my strategy too, but it seems like people just can't help themselves from dropping some political comment in non political discussions. It's so tiresome.

I say this to my son sometimes. "Throw me the clicker." The first time he looked at me like WTF are you talking about. Told him it's another name for the remote, but didn't tell him why, so he still has no idea

You need to speed up when changing lanes.

I'd even say that going to the theater sucks balls. The picture and sound quality usually sucks compared to a high quality download on a 75" 4k TV. Even a high bit rate 1080p video looks better than the theater.

What about a Datsun 240z? Don't you say 240zed?

There is a huge hairy intelligent creature that roams the forests of North America. The government is aware of it's existence.

This type of shit is exactly why I do pre paid. One $185 payment at the beginning of the year and I forget about it.

All that the email I received from them said was that they fixed the problem and there was nothing further I needed to do.

Yes

Live sports is all about IPTV. Just need to try a few out and see what works for you. And don't pay for more than a month at a time, unless you're willing to gamble. Luckily these providers are pretty cheap.

40 is fine. You can stream HD content with that. Unless you're downloading a lot of big files, speed is highly over rated. It's more important to be reliable. I'd rather pay $19 for 40 than $70 for 500.

I hope they are doing this for all of the Justices.

Southern California

$54.99 for 500Mbps down and 25Mbps up

That's with Spectrum being my only option. I use BillShark to renegotiate every year, so I'm not sure what it would be normally

I've actually been printing more at home over the past couple of years than I ever had before. Both as a hobby and for my son's school stuff. The trick is to buy those after market inks on ebay. I use the Canon PIXMA series and can get 5 packs of all 4 colors for ~$20.00us. I tried the refillable cartridges, but the effort and mess isn't worth it.

The only thing with the printers is the print heads seem to clog too easily. Need to make sure you're using it regularly.

Yeah, and my food (Nutro) not only keeps increasing their price, but lowering the amount. Went from 32lb bag to 28lb

I still use the old school ceramic C9 bulbs. So much better. They give off a warm colorful feeling. Led lights just feel cold to me.

Thanks, I've tried to keep it as stock as possible and if any changes were made, tried to keep it at least period correct, like the wheels.

Upgrades:

-Electronic ignition from a later model Spider -Higher voltage alternator -Billet high torque starter motor. -Weber 34 ADF -Headers and exhaust -Momo steering wheel -IAP after market springs.

Also replaced the stock fan with a modern electric one. That was just for weight savings though since the stock fan and assembly is so heavy.

Luckily this model shares the same mechanicals and some interior parts as the 124 Spider which was in production a lot longer, and they sold a lot of in the U.S., so those parts are easier to find. The hard parts to find are things like some interior parts like the dash, trim and body panels. I do have a new carpet kit and headliner that i haven't put in yet though.

No problem. Be aware that they take their cut of the projected savings up front. At first it might not seem like a good deal, but it is over the long haul. I've been using them for about 3 or 4 years now and it adds up. Plus it feels good sticking it to the ISP for their shady practices and constant rate raising. And you don't have to do any of the work.

Don't forget the shitty product too. TV and movies are mind numbingly bad these days. Sure there's the occasional good/great show or movie, but the vast majority are just shit. Add that to everything else you pointed out and it's no wonder they're in trouble and keep hiking the fees.

Does this guy get a lot ear infections? Mine isn't as furry as yours and he gets them all the time even with regular grooming and ear plucking.

Thanks!

The "download complete" Godzilla roar using the GoZilla! download manager. And using WinAmp to play my newly downloaded mp3's.

Holy smokes. Got sucked into that one. So is she still the only one that can crack Denuvo? You mentioned 2, is the other not very active or something?

Not only that, but people are realizing that the battery's don't last forever. What happens when those batteries start to wear and you need to replace them and have to spend another $5k - $10k. For a car you already paid $40k for? Also, where are the used batteries going? Used EV's are a huge gamble and a risky proposition. In the end, it's just more toxic waste to deal with

I did this with my old router and as others have said it effectively cuts throughput in half. Depending on your usage though it might not be a big deal. I only connected mine so I could get a signal in the front yard. It's fine for surfing the web or watching YouTube

So did my company. But I'm under no illusion. They didn't do it for their employees, they did it to save money. They ended up closing about 12 offices in CA alone saving millions in leases and utility costs. Doesn't really matter to me though, as long as I get to stay home.

Awesome. Thanks!

How old are you, 12?

Can't find a girl cuz they're all out chasing heros.

Trying to sign up and it's timing out

Agree. 100%. Weather is pretty good, if don't might 100 degrees for 3 months out of the year. Housing, and utility costs are out of control and homelessness and crime are rampant .

Edited my comment to add this link that just popped up on a news feed. Out of control

Unfortunately Lemmy is not immune to this behavior. I made a comment about what I think of the current general political situation in the U.S. and some loon flew off the handle, throwing around the standard anti Fox tropes and name calling

Some people just can't help themselves. Especially when it comes to politics and the like. They are incapable of having a discussion and all they do is attack and name call. Their identity is wrapped up in their political views and they can't think for themselves. They come from every side and are everywhere.

Satan, is that you?

Doesn't looks like this is available for Linux? I have older hardware running Mint that this would be perfect for. Am I just missing it?
