I love Firefox, but we need more variety in browsers and Chromium is just making it worse! There has to be a way to make building browsers simpler without everyone ending up relying on the product that was designed to ruin the free internet.

Have a look at Jellyfin, if you haven't. I moved from Plex because of restrictions in HW decoding.

I went to the final lecture of the semester and I wondered why the lecturer sounded sick and sluggish. I'd been watching every lecture on 1.75x and my brain had accepted it as reality.

These days, it feels like one needs a disclaimer for every opinion or fact just to avoid setting someone off. I feel like it discourages open conversation...

That is a thing on the Nvidia Shield, actually!

I really wouldn't blame it. Garbage in, garbage out...

I agree that the complicated and abstract lifestyle most of us lead factor into our well-being and mental state, but I think it is extremely reductionist to say all mental illness stems from this issue.

Cats?? On the internet?!

I think you should read their comment again. Their partner took one for the team and now they are exploring products that will limit BO. We know nothing about their hygiene based on this comment. Some people start to smell the same day they come out the shower.

Wet earwax??

What kind of problem set are you working on? What approaches did you try with your classmates? If you are able to answer these questions, it would be easier to give you tips that fit your situation.

Apparently they have a history of upping the price with every mod-breaking game update.

But all the EU countries got one for christm... Oh....

Go touch some gr... Oh, you are touching grass already??

I get where you are coming from and I agree that a lot of people suffer from BO that can be easily remedied by better hygiene. Some have never learned the proper way to shower and some are depressed. Then there are those with medical issues. I think part of what makes the topic of hygiene so awkward to broach is that unless you know they are not showering, calling them out can be less than helpful.

That said, don't fret about the downvotes. They really don't mean much. And my comment was not meant to be harsh. I use italics for emphasis, but not to be rude. I hope this exchange does not discourage you to make comments!

Watch out for Big Soap! They don't want the people to know your one weird trick!

Hey, now... Don't go tearing on people's hobbies!

Youch!

I'd say as a general rule any encryption can be cracked, but usually it is not worth the time and effort to do so.

Touché!

Are you willing to provide a few examples of horror movies that fit the description?

Tidal now has built-in transfer of playlists, at least from Spotify.

If you haven’t played Gandalf try it out. It will teach you how to craft attacks against these kinds of strategies.

Well, that was fun!

I used the same moronic username I got from a name generator for 20 years before Reddit was trashed. I took the opportunity to reinvent myself. I'm a techie with a beard....

I've always been a proponent of full-fat products. Give me cream and I'll drink it! It is the sugar that I am wary of, even though it is so delicious!

"I'm going to hide behind the settee, yeti spaghetti!"

I only wish PiP worked the way it does in Firefox, not in Edge/Chromium. I like to have my browser next to full height video on my ultrawide, but PiP will not go beyond 1080 pixels tall.

I check in every now and then. It is still not to the standards that I want.

I liked it from the start! But then I was starved for Silent Hill by then.

Why, does he also have my favourite candy and lives in a cool van?

That is great for your fiancée! Some of my games don't, unfortunately.

The problem lies with the games that don't run well. I love Linux as much as the next guy and I hope to see better support in the future.

I'm guessing only 6% of people understand this comment.

Modern DX12 games and older games are my jam. Besides, Star Citizen...

Yes, it's been a while since I made the jump, I misremembered. I also found the Jellyfin apps to work better than Plex on my LG TV. Plex was so slow in comparison. Things might have changed since then, though.

It's not that simple for gamers.

Thanks to screw-ups like these, I was on the hunt for a better search engine. I may have found one in kagi.com. Anyone else willing to pay to get rid of tracking, check it out!
