This is really old.

Xbox music became Groove Music which was retired Dec 31st 2017.

Though I guess that was just the subscription offering?

Sounds like any licenses you held continue on which I guess is nice. Does that mean any Zune licenses you have are now Xbox / Groove?

I mean, without browsing levels.fyi or anything like that you can get 4 to 10 software engineers for 1 million (anything from 100k to 250k depending on location, experience, etc.).

Not all employees are engineers but that would imply 80 to 200 staff for the 20 million they state.

That's only the component paid to the actual staff though. There are additional costs like Healthcare, unemployment, social security, etc, and other benefits that may not be included in wages (though some portion may be deducted from salaries), but they are including in that statement / summary.

That's right OP, the correct order is to reduce, reuse, and then recycle.

If you feel you can reduce use, or reuse any of the things listed. Please try that first!

Pretty sure I read about a study where they found people that smell bad are genetically close to you, like relatives and people you shouldn't procreate with.

People who smell nice are genetically diverse.

When I built my home server this is what I did with all VMs. Learned how to change the start up delay time in esxi and ensured everything came back online with no issues from a cold built.

Rip VMware.

While you're forced to use ticketmaster you can still avoid installing their app via https://am.ticketmaster.com/

As someone who owned a Jeep in a place where they salt the roads in the winter. Fuck torx.

That being said no other screw head would have been any better, and maybe it was just a cheap torx socket (you could see I had actually twisted the whole head on the tool, before stripping the screw). A hex bolt for that particular application would have been much easier to remove (or snap the head off :p)

It's per 1000 drivers (at least in OP's example). Doesn't matter how many are on the road that's factored out.

My LG TV updated to show ads in the input selection menu. I was pissed for a few months until someone showed me you can disable them in the settings. Maybe you can disable them on yours?

At best case 60 miles an hour... Your commute was more than 90 mins? Ugh. That's awful.

You weren't clear if that was round trip or not, so possibly more than 180 mins? How did you find time to sleep!?

Yeah what a badly written article, with awful takeaways.

I've had an Nvidia shield TV for like 6 years now. Very happy with it.

In a lot of cases the fine is punitive in addition to having to relinquish any earnings from bribes/blackmail/theft/etc. But this article doesn't touch on or mention that.

You can find port crystals around the map or via quests. There are also some fixed ones on the map.

You can place them anywhere... Outside I think? But maybe just anywhere.

Once you find/place them you can use a Ferrystone while outside to travel to any one you have placed. There is almost always at least one Ferrystone for sale in each town, and it will refresh after a few days when you buy it. It will cost 10,000 gold.

The number of port crystals you can place are limited (in the first game it was 8 or 9?). You can find roughly 5 per playthrough iirc. You can NewGame+ as many times as you want once far enough in the main quest (retaining most items, equipment, all vocation levels and experience...i imagine any vocation master skills too; generally just the quests and the world reset). I'm still on my first playthrough so haven't tried.

But there are no issues finding Port crystals and buying / finding Ferrystones. You DO NOT NEED MTX. That headline was so overblown.

Hard agree..... One of the most polished early access games I've played in a long time. I've started over at least 3 or 4 times now. Sometimes single player. Sometimes multi-player. Can't wait tor 1.0.

Looking forward to finally learning what the few WIP (work in progress) things will actually do....

You notice some differences just from the air temperature going into the engine too. Especially in a turbocharged car.

Colder air means denser air. Denser air means more oxygen molecules in the same volume of air. More oxygen means the engine can put more fuel and produce a bit more power.

Depending on your driving style, i.e. If you have a heavy foot, this means a bit more power and fun, but you're burning a bit more gas too.

You're comparing a 2d custom engine. Which admittedly you wouldn't expect to have multiple os support...but it's built on allegro, which is open source c++.

To a 3d game in Unreal Engine 5, which stresses even the best systems running dedicated gpus on windows. Do many macs offer dedicated gpus these days?

I think I saw they said there is another update coming. Not sure how much actual content there is though. They specifically noted it's not an expansion / DLC. Just an update.
