It's even worse with The Sims. I remember when I was in highschool, and an avid sims 2/3 player, I found this mod that would remove the pixels from the sims when they're naked. Of course the sims by default had no genitals, and being a hormonal teenager I also downloaded a mod that would fix that issue.

Because of how modded content for the sims is, a lot of the times the download sites are just link aggregators, so to download a mod you'd be sent to a different site that actually hosted the file. Downloading the naked mod led me down a rabbit hole to a site called sexysims3.com (or something like that) that had just... Every type of sex/porn mods you could think of.

From giant dongs to incest, it was all there.

I was pretty horrified and noped out of there pretty quick, and cleared the browser history because it was a shared family computer.

I let my hormones think for me 💀

The Princess Bride, and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Both have so many great lines they still crack me up every time!

Clearly they're saying you should hop in a hot air balloon and travel around the world spotting breaking news with your own eyes.

A bunch of morbid and medical subs like morbid curiosity, medizzy, medicalgore, thegrittypast. I always have found those subs super interesting and filled with discussion about stuff I don't usually encounter in my day to day life so I've been missing that.

Yeah I've had YouTube premium for a long time, and I don't mind paying for it, but the fact half the people I follow are getting copyright claimed (unfairly) or taken down is really a huge bummer. It's been hitting the true crime & film review communities particularly hard. I'm hoping more of my fave creators start using Odyssee or rumble because I don't really like supporting a platform who treats their creators like shit.

Dude I loved that movie so much as a kid, so much so that I made Van Helsing themed Sims 2 custom content 😂 My cousins made fun of me relentlessly for loving the movie. Then I re-watched it my first year in university and... It didn't quite hold up but I still love the movie haha

As Above, So Below was one of the first horror movies I ever watched, because I always was a weenie and thought I couldn't handle horror movies. Then one day I decided to watch this one and came to love the genre (I'm still a weenie though). The movie holds a special place in my heart for that reason.

I did find it a little disjointed and some parts felt rushed (like when she has to go back to put the stone back in place). Also the main character is a bit insufferable. But the art direction and set design is great and the movie does a great job at building atmosphere and suspense.

Also I think the other movie you're thinking of is The Borderlands! I've only seen the Ryan Hollinger video about it but it's also great.

It's because they're bringing back r/place
