I'm also using this one. It seems okay but as soon as Boost for lemmy is released I'll jump on that.

Yes they seriously should. I get the people don't like the hassle of making multiple accounts or spending too long choosing where to live. I think with these early days though it is a wise thing to do. You don't have to live on the most popular server to enjoy the experience and talk to everyone.

This is why you choose not to have an account on beehaw or lemmy.world and still interact with both. Picking and lemmey instance to live on should be taking everyone some time until you see how the they function. You can even host your own lemmy instance.

Alfred app for Mac. It is kind of a spotlight replacement for Mac but so much more. Think of it as turning your machine into productivity powerhouse where you are using the keyboard to access everything very quickly instead of wasting your time clicking around with the mouse. It is like a Swiss army knife where even just one of its features is a whole app for other people. I use it all day everyday for the past decade. And I keep adding to it new workflows or discovering new features. It is the app that is a million apps in one.

I use ChatGPT 4 and 3.5 via the api sometimes.

I've recently started using Claude Opus which i prefer for coding and maybe in general. Apart from the crappy message limit and lack of stop and edit buttons. I think it might stick with it and cancel gpt.

In general i use Ai to help with my job of general it guy, marker, admin, data entry etc. i use it to proof read, to get ideas, to transform data, to code it or to comment code, translate, transcribe, to bug fix. I always feel i could be making better use of it in my day but it is transformative for the stuff it does.

For the API I'm using a workflow for Alfred on Mac that allows me really quick key presses access to prompts and questions on selected text. I love it.

Niagara launcher is worth the time it takes to change your habit. Once you understand it you just can't conceive how people waste their time with normal home screens and organisation. It's just so damn fast to get to where you want to be with Niagara launcher.

Got to support the dev of somehow. I'd happily pay for it again.
