It sounds like she had a better grasp of the legal system than him in all fairness.

In addition to your comment, I would add to include apps that don’t sound “as interesting” or different from your usual picks. Along the way, it helps to be willing to refactor if you see a different way to implement it. This can help turn a routine task into a more interesting challenge.

Seems like such a contradicting message from a school that is supposed to encourage independent thinking.

Edit: colleges with large endowment funds seem like glorified businesses with conflicts of interest.

This seems similar to the EUs requirements. It really speaks about the US laws when even archaic Japanese legislators (see Japanese copyright laws) are ahead of that market in customer rights/options.

Sound like some Nazi shit.

I liked his role in smallville. Sad to hear he is not very smart.

Suppressing what was clearly a peaceful protest. Almost all these colleges have used the police and violence to escalate things and then blame the students for their inability to take criticism.

Edit: I think I misread your comment, I agree maybe they don’t encourage it, but should if they want to be considered a college.

One of the most common versions I’ve seen is managers being able to “correct” employees punch in and punch out times. Useful if you forgot to clock in. However, often used to always chop off extra minutes accumulated from being there a few minutes early (“on time”) and staying a few minutes past your shift (until someone else can take over). But don’t you dare to be a few minutes late because you will get some points on your record and risk disciplinary actions.

I fucking hated retail jobs.

Hard to argue with any of those points. Nice of you to kindly elaborate for people trying to blame the victims of the scheme.

Developer1: @developer2: could you take a look, I know u know stuff about this.

Developer2: can’t reproduce. Might be able to if I get the app logs in trace level, the blood of 3 dragons and a signed autograph of Michael Jordan’s third hello world program.

User1: here are some other unrelated logs at info level only and nothing else.

Git bot: clozed y’all.

Won’t change much. Look at OP, complaining about the betrayal and going back several times a day. Old habits are hard to break.

While that is true, items are purposely made unrepairable now. You don’t have right to repair movements because John Deere and Apple devices are so much more complex to repair for common failure points. You have those movements emerging because companies make it extremely difficult in the name of profit or style. With equally skilled (and due to the internet more informed) and capable repair personnel not being able to even partake in the process.

As a Mexican I can say that cinco de mayo is just a marketing holiday similar to saint Patrick’s day and capitalism has ruined any significance behind the actual batalla de Puebla… ooooh, did you just say you have a colorful donkey tequila on sale? Count me in 🤠

It could be true that they don’t target the press. They just happen to target every man, woman and child in the region?

The exact same could be said about roads for cars and parking spots which are subsidized land that could go to better uses like public spaces and parks.

You should let the companies police and regulate themselves, it leads to great outcomes, said the Boeing spokesperson.

I’m guessing 50% of individuals would be covered by just those 2 methods. Other methods would quickly follow once people realize how the rest of the world does not cater to crazy and the ones they can legally bribe (“lobby”).

This is the most accurate description here. Growing up in central Mexico I always considered burritos American food. If I had been born further up north in Chihuahua Mexico maybe I would have called them Mexican food. At the end of the day, eat them if you like them and don’t worry too much about what it’s called. Like all good food there is a little bit of influence from multiple fronts.

I would suggest docker compose before a UI to someone that likes to work via the command line.

Many popular docker repositories also automatically give docker run equivalents in compose format, so the learning curve is not as steep vs what it was before for learning docker or docker compose commands.

Russia did not give the Ukrainian people much alternative while they stole land, killed their friends and family and kept lying about it all. No one wishes for war, but you cannot appease a bully indefinitely.

Tom Scott’s video on 1 million dollars vs 1 billion dollars highlights how crazy 1 billion dollars really is for those that need easy to understand comparisons like me.

I would say the largest loss for a non English speaker is not having the full context of the method and variable names, as well as the comments or API descriptions within the source code. My friends from Mexico all mention English is a requirement on basically any university offering computer science/engineering.

Edit: you can always use google translate, but that will inflate the time required.

Until they don’t and some idiot will say it’s proof climate change (poorly named global warming earlier on) is fake, meanwhile a hurricane destroys his Florida home for the third time this year.

It would be free marketing if they went with that approach. I can already see the headlines: “Why the ‘Steam Deck 3’ is called the ‘Steam Deck: Episode 1’ and other 5 things with origins on the memeverse”

Not better, but certainly more accurate.

Maybe they meant it like “there is now stress for helping pay for college at a higher cost than when they were born.” Or being stressed knowing if the family lives in a HCOL area (typically where those salaries are offered), they might not be able to live there as well with the current trends in housing costs.

TLDR: things have changed for the worst for newer generations, parents can see it.

As long as you test restoring those backups, which is where many entities fail.

Usability comments were positive from what I recall reading. Seeing how TurboTax turns into a manually calculate everything yourself and good luck as soon as you step outside the normal workflow, the people that would use this just might. e.g. good luck filing domestic partner filing separately in California, no real examples to lure you into their shit higher price support tiers

They will bitch and whine for handouts to fix it as “an unforeseen emergency” and blame the federal government. It’s the only thing they know how to do.

Diablo IV is also going into a much lower player count and it only released mid year based on some videos about how it is not able to compete with games from other publishers this time around.

That’s not just android. iOS is similarly shitty. Even when you reset the dictionary of custom items as suggested it is just shit. I remember being able to type after on an iPod touch than my current iPhone XR. The edges of the screen are basically non existent as far as the touch keyboard is concerned.

Edit: type after = type faster… my point I guess.

It doesn’t. A lot of positions in government specifically prohibit nepotism when hiring as it can quickly lead to inept and unqualified candidates. Why would spending on your own business be any different as a candidate that is trying to get one of those positions?

This shows you are either failing at managing your business and should not be managing anything in government or that you are in it for yourself and no one else, which again contradicts what you are trying to get at elected to do.

Not to forget closing down breweries while leaving wineries open during COVID. While owning a winery. The kind of shit I expect of a morally compromised “rules are for thee, not for me” politician.

Edit: forgot he also attended some fancy party while telling people to not attend large gatherings. The definition of what I just stated. I wrote him off a while ago.

The sad part is that I put my phone down for a minute to do some chores. Picked it up and for a second thought this was a different article about a different narcissistic clown that is currently on the news a lot as well based on the comment.

Should just call it what it is. Domestic terrorism.
