Some random FOSS loving guy in NJ.

@IronTwo
Apple's ecosystem works well for it's users, but it screws over anyone else not completely consumed in their ecosystem.

Hey, from Fosstodon here. If I hadn't already created an account at fosstodon, I'd probably be at Beehaw. Yes, it does benefit from federation. Smaller-like minded communities are usually better at self policing than one large one that does it for them which is why I think the model works.

Good thing that those people stick out and threfore we as a community can take care of the problem. I'll do my part to flag jerks.

Perhaps being your idea, it might be that you’ll enjoy doing what ever it is. I’m trying to find a bright side here.

Uh, what about Ukraine?

@Cube6392
Perhaps they're is more we can do to encourage donations, but without being annoying about it.

Sadly, the protection of the 2nd Amendment by the Republican Party is a result of fear and perceived loss of control because of a rapidly changing and diversifying America and of those that intimidate and scare others into their way of thinking.

I use Organic Maps on iPhone and think it's great.

A helpful browser extension tool is Privacy Redirect. It allows automatic link redirects from:

Reddit -> Libreddit
Youtube -> Invidious
Google -> Startpage (or other)
Maps -> OpenStreetMap

... and a few others.
It is very customizable for what instances or sites you need which is why I think it's great.

I'm concerned about the malaria and now lepercy spreading let alone the hostile environment to basic freedoms in FL.
