Why not both? Both is fine. Why are we gatekeeping retrogaming again?

We really shouldn't be. The more we say Reddit here the more likely the fediverse shows up in Google instead of reddit right? 😂
It's actually not very difficult but can be pricey depending on what you wanna mod and the tools you need to get. Plenty of YouTube videos that teach you how to do it, and I highly recommend checking some out.
Many IPS screens for the GB/A require extra sanding or removal of plastic internals so that the screen seats correctly.
Strairdrac the Netherwatcher does as he pleases, worm!
Breaking news! Gigantic mega-corp does something quirky for attention and it works! More at 11.
I don't think that's true, is it? What about in cases where one parent is unknown?
Starbucks no longer serves coffee, and only carries old bay water.
I just told it to put a space in between each character and that got me thru to level 8. I think more complete chunks of the password might trigger a flag
Boo the reddit link.
Make no mistake if the fediverse keeps gaining traction there will still be gamification so long as there are points associated with posts. Even more so since profiles are generally less anonymous than reddit.
Nice! I just got a similarly modded GBA and Pokemon gold to play on vacation 😄 I'm so excited
I couldn't read this whole article because it is paywalled, but did the author suggest that they feel relief when they see other children throwing tantrums online at the end of the first paragraph?? Wtf does that mean??
From my limited understanding they're all based on activitypub, so the way we interact and generate content is the same. The difference is the UI and implementation of features outside of activitypub
Etsy. Just search 'modded gameboy' and you'll see plenty of results
There is some kind of webapp for Android. Not on the Google play store, I was prompted to download while browsing kbin on mobile. It works well enough for now, pretty much the same as browsing on a mobile browser except it's only kbin
Lemmy seems to have gotten the lions share of reddit migrants. Which is fine mostly, it's got good features and seems to be the popular pick. But with all the posts I've been seeing lately it really seems like many Lemmy users think Lemmy is all there is. I personally don't give a shit how you are viewing the fediverse, but to me any boasting about your particular instance reads like you're bragging about the designer of your glasses...
Paying to own* the content
Also if you're worried about content hosting costs for a content-oriented social media network please donate to your local instance dev 💚

This is such a terrible take... For those that read the article he says that it's fine the way it is because the elite rich pay more money into taxes than the working class... Like no shit thats basic math. We're asking for them to pay an EQUAL share as we do.
If you have a dude who makes $10,000 and is taxed at 1% pays $100 into taxes
And another guy makes $100 but is taxed at 10% and pays $10 into taxes
Is that fair just cause the first dude 'paid more money?? Fuck no it's not.
