bing it

No reason

I have reason: Costs. Recently in my region, Spotify racked their price from ₱129 to ₱149, ₱10 difference with YouTube Premium.

Plus, Spotify keeps shoving their podcast platform on my feed, which is annoying, and I'm only streaming music. I rather see or listen to something from my followed channels.

P.S. I only created a Google account just for YouTube and for my Android device, nothing else. I don't use other mainstream Google products.

You sure? What about your mailbox that probably contains promotional emails from your bank or your ISPs?

Nothing phones have excessive notification LEDs at the back of devices, and they are customizable.

Nothing is a OnePlus' successor

k

This is just an merch ad from your subscribed channel. I rather see these ads than some random ad pops up every 2-5mins.

Dude, Huawei allegedly partnering with China to identify Uyghurs.

Chinese Android phones came bundled with third-party app store. Huawei, after US embargo, still has strong presence in Asia even without Google Play Store. Xiaomi has GetApp, Samsung has, too.

Apple, on the other hand, would not let you sideload apps.

You are forgiven. It's an adventure.

Or maybe workaholic

YouTube Premium is so cheap, man. ₱159 (close to $3) per month. I gave up and exported my Spotify data for YouTube.

a little tweak of title:

"Google to weaken adblockers on Chrome in a push for ad revenue security."

most posts i stumbled here are completely irrelevant to me, politically and socially, but reading comments here are better than reddit.

plus, margot robbie is here.......

i hope that miui eu devs will also jump to hyperos.

miui eu is so so much better than bloated global roms... and this is my go-to custom rom everytime i replace my Xiaomi smartphone.

As an Asian, online subscriptions tend to be cheaper than US. Is my PHP159 ($3) can support 14 different Patreons? E.g. RedLetterMedia's Patreon will cost me $2 per month.

i don't treat music, or any entertainment medium, associated with reality. whenever i watch or listen to something, i want to be transported to the world the artists created.

like listeners who listens to whatever top charts now, they want escapism and we should not give a damn about it. the real world is depressing enough, you want to extend it?

Earlier, I tried Google Chrome's "profiles" but damn, how inconvenient they are. I ended up opening multiple windows.

Firefox, on the other hand, only uses a single window for multiple tab containers and accounts.

Ads are served based on your browsing history.

Not really. Ads served on Google ecosystem is geo-based, if you don't logged in your Google account or where your YouTube connected. You cannot get rid of it, unless you wipe all Chrome and Android users.

Miss the radios and CDs? Blame record labels.

For me, personally, I don't really mind how YouTube and other streaming services split their earnings to creatives. If one service stints mine, consumer's general experience, better to move somewhere similar. I'm glad that I subscribed YouTube Premium for two months, but right now, if they're not refunding me... then I should do the ethical one

uBlock Origin still bypass YouTube warning.

61 tabs

Damn! With Firefox, it will automatically close all those tabs. To add, uBlock Origin is neat, and also available on Firefox Android.

Play Store doing this since September, at least in my region (SE Asia). If you disabled personalized ads on your Google Account, Play Store homepage displays ads that are frequently installed from your country/state.

US politics really romanticizing elderly abuse.

I'm outside US (Philippines), most searches are local as long as your country is set on DDG settings. I've been using DDG since 2021 and it's refreshing that I actually searching with my actual query, instead of "click the first, random result" and call it a day.

Disagree. My Redmi Note 11 can charge up to 33W using my current Anker Nano II (65W), previously UGREEN 20W charger. It has USB-C 2.0 port.

Their 9-dash line claim failed. So they have freshly-baked 10-dash line lol

mah nas ass

my thinkpad has two usb-c ports, both can be used for charging. i still prefer usb-a cuz i still use peripherals and drives i have right now. im not ready throw them away for the sake of "newer ports."

It's weird because I've been using my e-wallet as my payment method on my former (now deleted) Google account for years, and never had issues with automatic renewal of my "Premium Pass" from one mobile game I used to play.

I will contact Google regarding this matter later.

iHaveUrPass

So there is no escape? Fck me then.
